That video was cute and about what I expected for a 'we're going on tour buy tickets' video
I know it's off topic but thought I'd let everyone know
Sooo happy checking Twitter to see this! There's still so much work to do such as parliament finalising and officially legalising same sex marriage in the country but we're another step closer to that!!
also i'm kinda sad knowing a majority of my electorate/area voted 'no' and contributed to most of the 'no' votes

is it bad that the first thing i thought of when i saw this was that post on tumblr a million years ago falsely claiming that australia had legalized same-sex marriage with like 74 glee gifs attached
but seriously, congratulations to everyone in australia, it's always nice to see good things in the news these days!!!!
damn people are fast. i managed to get two seats on the left orchestra for me and my best friend in the 3rd row for the vancouver show, and while i'm sad we don't get to meet them, i'm so thrilled to go and to be so close to the front!

congrats, aussie idb-ers!
unfortunately it was mostly just a glorified opinion poll, but i suppose people could make their local representatives (? not sure how australian politics work) vote yes if they would've otherwise voted no. but it holds no legal weight, mostly social. regardless, im happy about the outcome.
HOLYYYY CRAP!!!!! I just said two hours ago that I really wanted to go and my parents surprised me WITH A TICKET TO THE FT LAUDERDALE SHOW!!! I'M FREAKING OUT!

Oof, jealous of everyone using Ticketmaster! Took me almost 20 minutes to get tickets using axs. Didn’t work at all on chrome or IE, which is all that was available at work. Then mobile was slow af, and showed tickets in carts as available and had to refresh every. single. time. i picked seats that someone else picked. and then didn’t accept my card even though the info was correct GAH. I won the battle eventually!!! Super excited to see them! Hope axs works better for others!
Ugh I'm super nervous to use axs, from all I've heard on Tumblr it seems like axs is pretty crap. Any tips for buying through them or do you reckon it's all luck?
For me it was just luck- has anyone else had the issue where you couldn’t see the seats available on the computer? If that was a widespread issue, you may be better off using your phone in a place where you get good service. (i get terrible service at work which may be why the mobile site was so slow) Otherwise, patience and perseverance! My show (grand prarie) didn’t seem to be selling out too quickly, but idk if they was because of demand, people being unable to get tickets right away because of school/work, or maybe everyone was having technical issues as well!
Oh my god AXS online was horrific. The captchas were straight from hell and after a few refreshes to try to get better tickets / VIP I was getting like 10 captchas in a row. Omg. Eff AXS hard.
Los Angeles VIP sold out so fast it was insane - I managed to snag a row C orchestra seat though by cutting out the middleman and calling AXS. The lady on the phone was like, "Who are these people? Every time I try to get a better seat, they keep getting snatched by someone else!!!" Which was pretty cute (and also awkward as ever to try to explain who they are. Uhhh, a comedy act) At the end of the day I'll just be so so glad to see our boys in person
AND HOORAY for Australia! I'm so happy for Australia right now!

Most representatives here actually support marriage equality (or at least said they would follow the national/state/electorate result). It may not hold any legal weight but there will be public sanctions against the government / PM (he'd be killed in the polls - well even more so than currently) if it keeps getting dragged out, which could happen if no voters keep putting up religious exemptions.
right, so, turns out none of the US dates clash with my uni schedule as they are all miraculously during my summer break (unless i do summer school) so maybe MAYBE if there are any tickets left in the US in a couple days (need to discuss w/ parents - i'm over 18 but still live with them lol oops) i can go. closer to the pacific ocean the easier for me.
i'm so funny. i am the funniest person in the world. ryan gosling finds me hilarious. i'm in a submarine.
Shout-out to my poor peeps who, like me, got absolute shit seats! I'll be sitting on the very last row in the balcony, next to a pillar.
(Also, can I just say how absolutely shit Ticketmaster is? It was a 47 dollar ticket, plus 12 in 'service fee' and 5 in 'processing fee', what a rip off.)
if my heart was a compass you'd be north previously myllakka

fyi, Seattle doesn't seem to be selling out very fast at all and it looks like there are still quite a few for San Diego as well. Not sure what it'll look like in a few days though I'd try for either of those for west coast shows.

I scored myself a single ticket in Denver. I am so excited even if i feel super weird due to my age and being alone. I wish I got the VIP but it sold out SO fast. Literally I was logged in waiting and had everything ready and they were gone. I more upset that I would have thought and my residual anxiety is through the roof. I am so happy for everyone else who got the tickets they wanted and or were surprised by their options. I am super hopeful that someone will try and sell one or something although I am terrified of scams. AGH

the cheapest tickets for stockholm were only 18 euros - about 16 pounds - plus 1e delivery fee if you order an e-ticket. so yeah, there definitely is a price difference. i wonder if it's the long distances between cities, or something about work permits, or usa venues being more expensive generally.
Well, I know I said I felt I was too old to go to the tour but I ended up buying tickets today anyway. I am taking my 2 youngest kids with me to act as my cover though, so hopefully I won't get any odd looks...lol
Does anyone know if it's better to buy tickets now or to wait for the day of the show/ a few hours before when they might be cheaper?
When TATINOF came to my city I had been a fan for only about a week. I ended up buying a ticket only a few hours before the show on a resale site for about $30(£23). When I got to the theater, they switched my printout ticket for a new one, which ended up being center orchastra L. ( I didn't even realize that was a good seat until just now, I also didn't understand anything that was happening during the show either.)
Anyway, despite having 2 people and 4 devices this time, (with an actual desire to attend the show ) I still couldn't get VIP tickets. So now I'm not sure if I should buy the best of the cheap tickets as soon as possible, or if I should try my luck again and wait until day of the show, in hopes of getting much cheaper and better tickets. If someone has more experience with buying tickets last minute, I would appreciate some advice.
I feel awful though because as happy as I am for everyone getting tickets, I'm bitter as hell because- Jackaboy (jacksepticeye) did a tour earlier this year, a solo tour, and a group tour with the Grumps. I couldn't go to either of those because, A- I'm broke, and B- the tour he did with the Grumps was in Europe. Then this dan and phil tour shows up and I.. still can't go to this tour either. I'm sorry ugh. I'm being bitter as hell and I started tearing up because I hate being broke and never being able to meet the people I like a lot. It sucks.
Ignore this post sorry. I'm happy for everyone that got tickets though, I hope you have a great time

Purchasing tickets today was one of the most stressful things I've had to do in a long time. But I got floor seats! The fourth row from the stage as well!
Damn you 12 year olds for getting VIP, let us "older folks" have a chance. (LOL JK)
Congrats to everyone who got tickets and/or VIP! And to those who didn't get the chance to get tickets or they didn't come to your country- YOU ARE STILL VALID AND I LOVE YOU
