The audio is really bad, it's making it hard to watch.

It's weird seeing the potato quality and the angle, when I first switched on before they started gaming it was so weird to see their faces so up close and without the usual beautifying they have. Also this microphone quality is terrible, they need to sort that ASAP.

Offtopic:
But thanks for all the responses on Dan and Phil in 2012 and how their popularity increased during these years. Also, sorry for some of the negativity posts sometimes, it seems to be the only thing I have to say here. Time for a comment that's completely different: I'm liking the bants in this liveshow, no complaints there.

lol "blame the speed" reference they made at about 10.40 in

I missed the beginning  and it didn't get uploaded (yet, hopefully), could someone quickly recap the first 15-20 minutes of the stream?

the lag was so bad once phil started playing that i could only really listen to it but it was fun nonetheless. i loved the subtle shade thrown at conspiracy theory youtubers too about how phil got his bruise haha. and phil's abrupt laugh after dan's "sweaty nights" comment was so funny to me.

I really enjoyed their live stream. But hope that in the future they have a solution for the audio plus the lag, because it was pretty bad. Still happy they did this though.
How can their internet be so bad? I do not understand.

Happy that spooky week will be back this year.

Dan shading the conspiracy theorist youtubers was great.

Was it lagging so badly for you all too? I was so frustrated, but still watched the whole thing. Dan said that internet wise, this is as good a speed as they're gonna get at their current apartment. That really sucks because it could use an upgrade :(
But overall, I hope they do this again, loved (what I could hear of) the bants :D

I'm so annoyed and sad, how did I miss the entire stream? I've been at my computer literally ALL day, doing nothing important and somehow completely missed it, with no notification from YT or the tweets... I found it exactly TWO MINUTES after it ended.

YT says the video is 49:44 but only the last 22:54 loads, which is just making it even worse. I hope it's just still processing or something. The lag is pretty terrible though.
That's my socializing quota for the month up.

Am I allowed to be annoyed that my £15 superchat got eaten :?

it was good but they need to fix their internet/sound set up - especially their sound because I can't imagine it was pleasant for headphone users.

I didn't watch it live but I don't mind with Dan and Phil because typing into the chat is not worth it anyway. For some reason only the last 22 mins are available but I don't think I'll watch the rest if they upload it because the lag and sound were terrible. Not so much fun if it's lagging that much and watching with headphones makes you feel like you're bleeding from your ears :? I had to put them behind my ears and then it was better.

I'd be beyond annoyed (luckily I don't have £15 so...)

But in all seriousness. What's the point of being millionaires AND recently moving to a new place if you can't have a decent internet connection?! It's their literal job, wouldn't that be kinda high in the priorities list??? I hope they have the best mfcking wifi in their forever home

That was anything but subtle, i immediately though it was directed at Shane. ( i hope they don't edit that out, if they are still editing it before they upload the whole thing).

Apologies for our downtime earlier.

There still may be periods of downtime over the next few days, but they're unfortunately necessary so that improvements can be made to the board. After all of the initial work has been done by our new host, Ashley S., we hope to have the board back to it's old custom-themed self. Might even throw in a few custom emojis too, but no promises.

We'll do our best to keep you updated, but we apologise in advance for any further downtime, and once again our thanks for your patience.

You can follow our twitter for updates.

I thought the sound and the video quality was fine for the first part of the stream when Dan was playing...it's odd that that's not what they have posted...It only got bad when Phil started.

I am away from home so I missed the livestream, would have tried to watch a bit of it had they given us more than 15 minutes notice. Such a shame they didn't tweet out earlier about doing it; but I guess a duck shaped bruise is more interesting maybe.

also, this the second phan-prix I've missed out on as I've been away, shame as I would really love to play them both (in quite good at MK8), but I don't have a switch either so it's just not meant to be.

Yeah, I was actually surprised with the quality in the beginning! And I didn't think the audio was that bad (the lag was tho, I wasn't able to watch the races). I really liked the livestream though! So glad I don't have a social life so I could watch it. Enjoyed Dan cheering on Phil in the last round, he was so loud lol.

Also, I laughed when Phil really didn't wanna tell how he got that bruise. Dan tried to push him a little to tell, but Phil ain't got time for that.

I enjoyed the livestream and I'm glad I decided to watch since the beginning because apparently youtube isn't showing the first half. I say it's a tragedy that it started lagging SO BADLY right when it was Phil's turn.

I honestly can't understand how bad internet was one of the reasons they moved and yet they can't figure out how to stream properly. Come on boys you have enough $$$. I loved the not-so-subtle shade and what even was all that about Phil's bruise? Like..is he saving it for a video or what cause this refusal to talk about it after Dan tried to make him is quite funny. Also loved how Dan basically had to check out Phil's crotch to see where the bruise was as if he didn't already know  I'm not saying they got too crazy "fighting" but I'm saying they got too crazy "fighting"

Dan was so happy for Phil, such a proud boyfriend *pink trashcan*

I hope the video fix itself soon cause the first half was very soft and I enjoyed it a lot. From the looks of it they don't really edit that much during gaming videos, either that or they're good at censoring themselves. Which is good for them, sad for my heart - when will I hear Phil shout at Dan to shut the fuck up honestly

it's especially annoying because YouTube don't refund - I understand why but at the same time, if it doesn't pop up the transaction shouldn't complete :|

I was thinking that, like I doubt they're renting with bills included so when their literal job is internet stuff why don't they have gigabit broadband? Its a genuine investment for them to have the fastest speed possible. Bizarre that Dans phone has a better internet connection, maybe they should stream games that dont require an internet connection in future? Its a great idea to play online with fans but if it makes it borderline unwatchable, its not a great idea tbh.

ALSO - the full video is now up :D

The beginning was so sweet and domestic! And it's so much better than the last part lag-wise. I really hope they find a way to improve quality of audio and internet, because this was so great and I would love them to do livestreaming more often.

I love when Dan, while reading the chat, asked.Phil to show the bruise and they had the moment looking down and smiling.

Well that killed #sheetgate for good  .
But the new question is how did Phil get two serious bruises (one on his arm and one on his leg)?

Dammit, Phil. Way to ruin our fun clear the air. Good one. Honestly, do they read here?! They squashed that conspiracy SO fast, it was almost uncanny. The idea freaks me out. Lmao. HI GUYS. I looked at the picture on my laptop when I got home and could better see his crossed legs where I swore I saw bedsheets... It was a really weird angle, though. Wtf r u doin, Philly?!

Anyway. The gaming stream was incredible! I was literally all smiles watching that entire thing. Phan-Prix made me actually laugh out loud before even watching the actual stream. I was shocked and excited to hear Phil saying "swish swish, bitch" and "mother of ass" I know he's a fully grown adult and blah blah blahhhh, but it's just so out of character for him it is hilarious and gets me right in the giggledick every time. Also, I didn't realize just how good Dan was at this game?! Maybe I just feel that way because I totally suck at Mario Kart. Dan cheering Phil on and being supportive was also adorable. All of the references! I just loved this stream. I'm just so obsessed with watching them in a relaxed setting having a good time. I mean obvs I could watch the two of them watching paint dry and be like, guh, what amazing content. But still. I really enjoyed it. Put me in a much needed better mood.

Interesting that Dan had to tether to his phone to get a faster connection for the stream. How can their internet connection be that shitty? I smell another conspiracy theory bubbling beneath the surface. Or more likely, my tinfoil hat is just on too tight. Someone stop me, I clearly need help.
