This is definitely the best react vid they have been in this year. And yeah it was funny how they almost always gave vids the same score with Phil even asking Dan if he too thought one of them was a three. Cute.

I've been lurking for a bit, but finally got up the nerve to post.
I agree that this has been my favorite react video this year, though I still thought most of the compilations weren't really that satisfying lol.
Now I'm just going to sit back and enjoy looking at Dan's photo with Colin scrolling through twitter.

Haha nice choice of words! I also inexplicably felt sad for the tennis ball. It looked so pitiful when it was being flattened.

I don't tend to watch these kinds of videos (anything sensory) so it was something different for me and and I enjoyed seeing their reactions and how different people found different things satisfying or grating. I felt sooo stressed out by the troll videos though

Dog park; Colin is accompanied by a cave-dwelling internet troll who posts a doggo photo to Instagram every ten minutes (time for filtering, ofc) and a man who tries to get Colin to make friends with the squirrels, leading to a howling session at the base of every other tree. Then shopping!! Colin is shown a variety of toys and chewbones, with lengthy commentaries on the strength of their aesthetics, and when phans zoom in on the reflective surfaces of the containers, they find a wild Phil pushing a fully loaded shopping cart as he records. I know that the convo has long moved on, but I really didn't know Phil would be rendered without ー in katakana. Whenever I pronounce "phil" or "Phillip" I always drag out the "I" in the middle (haha I guess this is just another English thing that I do wrong lol I hate this language it's so hard) so it probably carried over into my interpretation of their names in Japanese. It might also be that I learned American English when learning the language, and words like "until" "Phil" "drill" always sounded long?

The oddly satisfying compilation was oddly satisfying, although it may take me a few years to recover from never seeing those balloons (?) pop.

First we had Phil in his denim jacket yesterday, and now a photo of Dan in his? Feeling pretty blessed y'all ngl.

Also, I woke up this morning to an open notepad on my phone, which I had apparently created at 3:21 AM, containing only this:

Dream that the world got taken over by aliens and Dan and Phil are forced to live in a tiny one room apartment as per alien law, and share a garbage twin-sized lofted bed (has black sheets). Dan's pissed because he couldn't bring 2 out of his 3 boom boxes and those boom boxes had good friendship memories :C Also thrudl [they do] the laundry inside now, no dryer, only clothesline. Anyway dan has a diary(???) that's just a giant leaf and he draws maps and angry "no gf/bf" ramblings on it like it's a Reddit gourmet . He keeps it under his massive pillow and somehow expects Phil not up [to] find it. One day dan calls the queen of the aliens on the newly implemented """telephone""" system (tin cans connected by rope)
and tells her he's mad because the aliens haven't assigned him a gf/bf. She sends him a letter (on normal paper) and turns out to be a super chill mom-like figure (but like a cook [cool]
mom) and agreed that he should totally have a gf/bf, so from here on out he has officially been assigned Phil to be his gf/bf, no takesies backsiws [sic]. The alien queen is such a troll lmao. So dan freaks out cuz now he gotta tell Phil. He tells him at dinner but Phil already read Dan's insane leaf ramblings so he kinda saw this coming. Plus Phil is fond of fdab [Dan]
so he's kinda happy about it??? Dan's like wrf [wtf] no Phil, Phil is like well whatever you're stuck with me either way. Now they start sleeping with their heads on the same pillow, instead of with a pillow at each end of the bed and each other's feet on the other persons pillow, which was how they were doing [it] before. Drastic improvement if I [you] ask me. Still packed like sardines tho.

I feel like someone with editing talent (so def not me!) should edit them together into a thing. Like, a hilarious thing that sounds super inappropriate.

With my basic japanese knowledge, I think Philip with ー would literally be phii-lip, it doesnt hold the L, but rather the i ! its almost like card, its カード, it breaks down to KA--DO not KAD-DO, Philip is the same way its Philip, Fi-ri-ppu, you can elongate the ri, but it becomes fi-riii-ppu.

Japanese tend to break things into syllables that correspond to their a i u e o, like fi-ru, (phil), do-ri-ru (drill), thats why if they were to say daniel its a mouthful cause its da-ni-e-ru
and if you elongate with the ー it always does so on the vowel, not the consonant

ALso yes all these dog pictures and no dog its dogbaiting to the max

The React video is the best one of the bunch from VidCon for sure. Lots of moans/groans and good gifs for their o-faces satisfying reactions. I didn't actually find most of the videos they showed to be satisfying, except the brick domino one. I love looking at the instances where they consult each other before giving a score, and also where they differ in finding things enjoyable or not.

Dan's picture with Colin is great, I really hope all this time spent with dogs is giving their doggo-loving selves a great big push towards getting their own.

As the guys are guests of Instagram at Wimbledon today, I'm sure they'll be encouraged to take lots of selfies I'm desperately clinging to this thought

I don't usually give a toss about Wimbledon but even I'm looking forward to watching the final later, just to try and spot in the crowd

I slept in so this was a lovely photo to wake up to. The white hat and shoes, and tiny ankle socks, are so Wimbledon, and I love that he seems to be wearing their own merch hat and what seem to be a pair of Phil's shoes from Tatinof, though when we've seen their shoe racks, Dan has some very boring plain shoes of his own and I thought he was a size smaller, so maybe not.

Love that he still has the beautiful silver mirror I've always admired. I thought it would fit right in with his moon bedroom, but it looks like he's in a hallway. This curved wall situation is intriguing.

Great choice of trousers, they're darker than his usual jeans, plus the fancy flaps. The triangle on that shirt reminds of the prism on the Pink Floyd album cover Dark Side of the Moon, or just illuminati. The grid reminds me of the graphics they put on TV when they're talking about hackers.

His pose is so nonchalant too. I guess the boy knows he looks good.
