Bless the person who made the jump scare list and bless Deppy for adding it to the description though. I'm a wimp, I hate being startled :')

A Walmart broke the street date, according to the OP. Who wants to take one for the team and check their Walmarts?

like you said, not particularly interesting but i also found it funny & i have the same ring tone. it is at 22:08.anathema wrote:Also there was one part in the video where one of their phones started to ring and there was a jump cut right after it? Not particularly interesting I just found it funny. But I can't find it now

a few other timestamps because i enjoyed this video so much :
0:11 - “a plain person in the streets, a vampire cat in the sheets.”
phil showing off his legs i mean socks cause that is obviously what we were all looking at.
0:57 - his whole “no indie games or weird files” makes me want to reiterate: no one is forcing you to play those - you chose them. if you want to play a “proper, expensive horror” NO ONE would complain..
1:44 - “woof”
5:18 -
10:08 - phil knows latin - i feel like collectively they know so many languages also made me have horrible latin learning flashbacks.
14:12 - phil makes himself laugh.
16:03 - “i spat on the screen,” “thanks for cleaning that.”
17:23 - “switch on the lights, please.” with quite possibly the cutest "please"
17:31 - them talking about silent games makes me salty they don’t play something like that on the gaming channel.
18:11 - cutest part of this video imo - “no” and the little shoulder nudge
24:43 - the fondest ever “philll, not now.”
also OT but today i watching an old phil ls from 2013 where dan and phil said they wouldn’t make a gaming channel and it made laugh a bit. but with all the talk about them not playing games they genuinely enjoy i hope overall they still enjoy having the gaming channel.
Months before they announced TABINOF Dan said he wouldn't write a book. Bitch ass liars indeed.dollicious wrote: also OT but today i watching an old phil ls from 2013 where dan and phil said they wouldn’t make a gaming channel and it made laugh a bit. but with all the talk about them not playing games they genuinely enjoy i hope overall they still enjoy having the gaming channel.
Hm Phil enjoys thrillers and books like that, he's quite a Stephen King fan. He even mentioned in the video that if he'd read the description for the game on the back of a book he would want to read it. Maybe he just does better with books though.mermaid blood wrote: Phil was more disturbed by the gore and themes than Dan, and I lean slightly towards Dan (i liked his explanation of this at the end) in what I find unnerving; fictional gore doesn't impact me at all, neither does continual high stakes action. i like a slow burn and psychological creepiness. it made me wonder if Phil is affected by haunting images and implications of suffering. that is one thing i can't take, real-life suffering (i'll watch horror movie after horror movie, but don't make me watch the news). fictional depictions just feel a bit cheap, they don't bring up war footage and shit i've had reoccurring nightmares over. So what i found valuable from this video was learning that maybe there is that connection for Phil. maybe not, maybe he just didn't know how to light-heartedly react and he's already forgotten about it. any hint of Phil's vulnerabilities is catnip to me.
I dont know if its just me but i enjoy watching people screaming in fear its like a catharsis (because in real life i'm such a pussy myself) that's probably why i enjoy their genuine reactions. though i kinda agree those reverse crosses, children corpses, and cults are tacky but even if i dont find what their playing scary their scared reaction is enough for me. that's probably why for me the FNAF and sonic videos (just to clear this out I enjoyed the first sonic game Dan actually was worried that Phil installed a random .exe file he found on the internet ) are below average i'm not saying I didn't enjoy them they just didn't fit the theme of spooky week for me (sarcastic reactions, acted reactions, just forced jump scares) while the outlast on the other hand had atmosphere, justified scares, and the most important thing them being into it.mermaid blood wrote:

Does he has like...quite a lot more defined freckles than he used to? Did America do that to him? Sorz for the skin cancer, bae.anathema wrote:I think those freaking masks were the scariest part of that video. Who thought those would be a good idea!?
I did get this really nice screenshot of Dan though

Yasss Dan was hilarious in this. The things that came out of his mouth . I need to study Phils face when Dan said the "fuck me in the ass" since I was too busy watching the game its probs not the first time he heard that from danfelucca wrote:Damn, that's gotta be my fave so far this Spooky Week.
Because it was spooky (I got so fucking jumpscared jesus christ) but at the same time it was silly because of the graphics and all and that brought the fun out in D&P. They could make fun of the game AND enjoy it and be scared at the same time and the combination was just great.
Dan was such a li'l joy too.
