Honestly, I really didn't like this one. It has to be one of my least favorite Videos they've ever done for spooky week. It wasn't even scary, it was more so predictable for me. I don't understand why they are trying to keep some sort of tradition with playing the same games. Just play something new and scary/creepy every year for spooky week, guys, No one will be disappointed.
On the brighter side, it sounds like tomorrow's video is definitely gonna be outlast 2!

As a person who is indifferent about the sonic.exe series but appreciates the disturbing part of it, I enjoyed this video way more than FNAF. Even though it wasn't scary at all.
Phil tried very hard to make it at least a bit spooky and Dan just didn't give a shit and ruined it. I don't know if I like that or want to slap him. As usual. He did seem to get into it a bit more as the video progressed though, which is at least something. And there were some interesting moments, maybe someone is more dedicated than me and makes a list

I just hope they both actually enjoy the upcoming games because even with the bants, it's just not the same when you can feel how one or both aren't really invested in the game. I'd rather have them playing less requested games that I'm not that interested in and they actually like than just doing the same series every damn year without being into it. I always thought that spooky week was something they enjoyed themselves and might even be a little excited about. I didn't get that vibe in the last two videos. Maybe they just got the less spooky and exciting videos out of the way and tomorrow we'll have something actually scary (or at least something they both genuinely enjoy)? Is it too naive to get my hopes up for that?

I literally just watched markiplier play the outlast demo and it's legit scary so I'm hoping it rescues this slightly tame (so far) spooky week!

I know what you mean and it's the saddest thing, depending on how true it is. I think they do care about Undertale and The Sims, some others maybe, I can't remember what else they've played in ages (perhaps nothing since last Christmas), but when they started and played things like Donkey Kong they were so into it.

I liked this a lot, though. It took a little while like yesterday, just as the first game finished, before Phil said "bet you thought that was an anti-climax" I was just thinking that. When it continued, the story went deeper and they were getting into it, he was trying really hard to land safely, or just trolling by dying to bring up the screamer images, then it got good. Phil was really expressive too, I like that. I'm glad they're going full-on spooks with Outlast, I loved Dan's video of that.

I was optimistic with the last video but after this I realize they've had a weak start, I hope they pick up the pace. There were some good #bants in the video but they'll probably be time stamped and/or giffed on here and tumblr so I would watch it by them

It's not the best video they've put out but they haven't exactly been making videos regularly so I'd wait a few before they pick up. Has anybody else noticed the view count was down? Maybe the phandom has become less eager but, again, wait a few videos and they'll be easily hitting the 1 million mark again.

superamazingproject died a long time ago and the radio show was - obviously - on radio, they needed something new to catch the attention as "hey, we're a duo on youtube". but yeah, just a speculation, not saying it's true. they might have been excited about it at first and now they just find it tedious.

I should have put a bet on videos for spooky weeks. Always a FNAf and a exe game.

I hated the sonic.exe series but I really liked this video. I don't know if it was the story or it had some good platforming but it was a nice trilogy of games. Not scary at all.

I was still disappointed from their terrible fnaf video yesterday (watch Marks or Jacks videos for an actual good video on sister location) that I went into the sonic video with low expectations.
I think that helped a lot.

I really hope they play the outlast 2 demo. That really scared me.

I am getting quite annoyed at Dan being done with the games. Don't play them then if you are done with them. Play what you want ffs. If people don't watch, who cares. Most of the phandom don't care what they play as long as they make an entertaining video...

I liked the Sonic video more than the FNAF from yesterday because it felt like it had more chemistry in it. In today's video Dan seemed to be on some kind of energy drink and Phil was just a bit distracted, but in general we got some interesting mood going on. Inappropriate "sexualness" was there but wasn't commented on which is funny. I don't expect to actually get spooked by any of the games, this Sonic video was just as weird as those from previous 2 years, there's something almost charming about it. Also there is a speck of dust on the camera lens and it looks like it's going to be in all videos lol.

Yeah, I didn't realise it at first because it wasn't that obvious, but recently they (especially Dan) didn't even make an effort anymore. I think most of the games they played when they started were games they really enjoyed. And those are the games they mentioned playing in their free time or they used to play when they were younger or something. I don't understand why they don't play anything they would like to play anymore. Do they feel like it ruins the game for them? Do they want a personal experience? Because you could easily manage to please the majority when you mix requested games with those you enjoy yourself, so why not at do that at least? If they'd continue Sims and Undertale but play other games in between that they like and care about, I'm pretty sure nobody would complain (at least not enough that it matters, some people always complain) and Deppy would have more fun. I understand why they continue Sims and Undertale (and I really like both series and I do think they like it too, just stretched it too long), but I don't understand why they keep playing games that they aren't interested in at all. It's not like they'll lose all their fans. I'm subscribed to their gaming channel because of the bants and not because of the games and I'm sure a lot of people are like that as well.
I don't want them to just do what the audience wants. It's their channel, they should do what they want and we have to deal with it. And let's be honest, most people will watch and enjoy almost everything they put out there. So where the fuck is the problem? I really don't get it

Okay yeah I clicked out of that video like 5 minutes in. I don't like Sonic series, the novelty wore off ages ago, both of them were absolutely over it (and I was SO looking forward to Philly at the helm), and some lackluster #bantz couldn't save the experience.
