It's okay. To quote Phil it wasn't exactly Schindler List (of their videos I mean ) but was still enjoyable to watch, I don't think I'll ever play the games but it doesn't look as scary as the previous ones? I'm kind of looking forward to what MatPat shoves at us, poor guy.

wow, now here's our dan rebranding - he looked 100% done he didn't even try to seem interested and meh that's a shame cause i thought this particular fnaf was a good one. oh well. thank god i have markiplier. and phil was cute.

i enjoyed it for what it was but i hope that out of 5 videous we'll get this week at least one of them will feature dan genuinely enjoying the game. maybe dan really needs a break from youtube tho...

so fun story. im not saying i had anything to do with it, but i went to one of the tatinof usa tour dates and i had VIP and when i walked up, dan was wearing the moth shirt and after like a minute of conversation there was a lull and i was nervous and i just spit out 'i was hoping you'd wear the moth shirt dan!' and he goes 'oh really, why' and i was like 'it's my favorite shirt, you look really good in it' (keep in mind i am literally the same age as him im not like a little kid) and he just starts laughing really loud and goes 'well im glad i made your day then'

Yeah not my fave video. I wasn't interested in or spooked by the game very much, and D&P had a hard time making it interesting because they can't bring the bantz as much or they'll miss half the game's instruction. Not their fault, they tried their best and I didn't hate it or anything. Now let's see what the rest of the week will bring us I guess.

Of course the video was FNAF. I really hope this isn't the scariest game they have in store for us because that would be pretty disappointing. Not enough Deppy screams tbh. Took quite long until it got a bit spooky. I jumped more at them screaming than the actual jumpscares. I heard people were saying that this one was so much scarier than the other ones and I disagree with that, it might've been the least scary one in my opinion.
I liked the decoration Phil put up. Even though it was unstable as usual and something fell off. You tried, Philly, you tried.
The shaft was probably the scariest thing in the whole game because I have some form of claustrophobia
Phil literally studied something at school that I studied too (not in psychology though, that wasn't a subject here). It's actually quite interesting, I sadly don't remember what the experiment was called.
Where did Dan get his "Kannst du nicht?" from? It's grammatically incorrect btw and "Can you not?" doesn't even exist in German.
Dan is way too obsessed with Phil dying. The fic prompt yesterday, the "prediction" today. What's wrong with him?

Well, it was a nice start. Not very spooky, but very entertaining. They looked good as usual. I can't wait for the other videos. I'm fine with everything that's creepy/spooky in some way and at least gives me scared Deppy, I hope there's not a "Can your pet?" in the mix this year.

Went on tumblr bc I was bored waiting for the video, first thing I see is dan's post with like 3 notes. amazing.

I have not much to add except:
- didn't really like this part of FNAF, I don't understand why they'd suddenly change all the mechanics and what makes the game unique? Also wasn't scary at all. The bants they did get in through all the explanations were fun though
- 9:05 I loved the way Dan looked at Phil and then the camera when he said 'crafts'. It was the usual "so done with you" joke, but it seemed so fond at the same time I'm just

I did jump twice, and I guess the video was sorta tense mostly because I honestly had no idea what was going on the entire time, lol. It's probably more straightforward if you're playing the game, but at some point I lost track of what they had to do, or why they were doing it, so I was basically on edge the entire time for jump scares
The bit where Dan was clicking the popcorn...his face combined with the audio...
(Actually, quite a few moments of the video's audio could probably be taken out of context easily. Once I started noticing it I couldn't stop lol )

Oh, I studied it too! It was so interesting. It's the Milgram Experiment. That and the Stanford Prison Experiment are two fucked up looks at human psychology. I believe I studied them in a sociology class, if you had that.

On topic, it was an okay video to me, not super scary, but I'm used to the fnaf format/jumpscare use, and there weren't even that many of them. Plus, Dan's over it attitude made it a little less exciting. But, it made me laugh a few times so I can't wait to see the rest of the week, spooky week is always fun, and I appreciate the large grouping of videos. I'm hoping for some different games, hopefully some that legit scare me

I agree FNAF is so boring but I laughed so much at the jumpscares that I really enjoyed the video. Not sure it's one that's worthy of a full rewatch but I did rewatch some clips over and over, mostly the bits where the jumps happened, oh and when the decoration fell off the wall. Dans face was so funny, he looked genuinely scared.
You can really tell when Dan edits, it's so OTT, when it comes to spooky week I just wish they'd play the game instead of trying to be extra funny. Maybe that's why I enjoyed Silent Hill so much, it was scary but they weren't desperate with the #bants. What was the point of him showing himself scratching behind his ear so upclose? What did I miss there?

You and dizzy are probably right! This threw me off a lot when I watched it the first time (like, why would he say that??) and upon rewatch your version makes more sense
