hi there! just wanted to say good for you for doing you. you're input is definitely appreciated even if its not articulated in the same way. one thing I like about this community is how much diversity we have, including people who find communicating in written english difficult, be it b/c they didn't grow up with the language or are like yourself.awkwardly wrote:so I read only the first page of this thread so far so I'll respond with that and if I have time I'll go over the rest cause I see ppl replying now with test results
so things I wouldn't normally tell about myself, ok...
- I am autistic, so 75% of time it's very hard for my to be in this phandom, cause ppl are highly sarcastic, which can be extremely hurtful cause I take written comments many times literally. (to be honest I regard sarcasm the worst human trait, which is funny for someone who got here watching Dan videos...) And also in contrast to other fandoms phandom is very picky in their speech and eloquent which makes me very uncomfortable to express myself (because it is a myth that autistic ppl are highly intelligent). But I really want to be parts of something I enjoy, but yeah, sometimes I wonder that maybe I should just shut up and only read things without participating
- I'm lesbian and demisexual
- Slytherin
I'm another INFP, Gryffindor, and concur with how interesting it is that the majority of this fandom seems to be not-straight. Also I'm glad to see other people who don't like avocados exist.
I've already said this in my introductory post, but I think one thing I wouldn't tell IRL people right away is how involved I am in fandom/internet culture, starting with harry potter forums when i was 12+. Which, of course, is not a big deal to say to other online folk.
That's a lie, actually. I had to do a presentation on fan fiction for my sherlock holmes class and it was very obvious I knew it from a more-than-observer perspective. Oh well.
