I guess intuitive, judgey nerds just fit right in.
Dan is also INFJ. Back at it again with the relatability.
Yes, the rarest type of all. So relatable.
isn't INTJ the rarest type? i always thought so. anyway, i have two friends with a degree in psychology and they're persistently trying to convince me mbti is not the greatest system. apparently there are far better personality tests with more questions which makes them more precise. but i ain't an expert so waiting for others to give an opinion. :)

Yeah, it's a tie between INTJ and INFJ. Basically the Ni doms. And, yeah, mbti is a pretty rubbish system. it is fun, though

The worst thing about MBTI is how often it's used in professional settings. It's kind of ridiculous that they use such an unreliable test to determine the future of peoples' jobs

So, because I am curious, I take the five factor personality test. I got a split in openness, high in neuroticism, and low for extraversion, concientiousness and agreeableness.

It probably means I am introvert, dont care what people think, a stubborn and disorganised person (so true) and what was neuroticism again?

Yeah absolutely

When Pottermore came out it was great but also very distressing for a HP nerd like myself because I made all my (non HP nerd) friends take the test and most of them got sorted into the wrong house! and they just rolled with it and was like noooooooooooo you are not in that house pls believe me I swear

-Irl I have a fairly soft/quiet voice. So some of my dread of the awkward share circle is because no one can actually hear me. Pro: It doesn't matter how embarrassing I am. Con: Having to repeat myself forever.
-Glad to see so many fellow Harry Potter nerds! I've been part of various fandoms since 2002, with Harry Potter being the first. I'd say the Harry Potter interest is a sign of how awesome we all are, but it probably just means that we're "old" haha.
-I never understand why people have strong opinions about shoes? I tend to wear the same pair of shoes until the soles actually wear through. I also try to find the most comfortable pair of shoes that I can get away with wearing, which (let's be honest) are also the ugliest. I'm not proud of this, I realize that people judge me, but my feet are always super comfortable.
-Have been a vegetarian since my early teens. Don't care at all about what other people eat.
-Demisexual/biromantic
-Pro-avocado. Anti-artichoke hearts.
-INFJ/Hufflepuff

Admittedly it was a free version of the test, but it came back with "you could be..." ESFP/ESFJ/INFJ/INFP/ISFJ. Can't label me(!) ngl, reading the descriptions/dimensions, I do combine things from both columns. Strong Feeler though. Tis true.

Pottermore put me in Gryffindor. I'm a Neville too. Quietly happy flying under the radar most of the time, but don't think I don't know exactly what's going on, and will, on occasion do something that makes everyone around me pause and go "WTF/where did that come from?!" :?

I agree about the professional settings bit. We've been taught it out of interest but told not to use it at. It's still extremely popular in industrial psychology and in employment settings, which is just absolutely terrible.

Hi... so I used to lurk in GG but after a certain purple banner incident I decided to come out from my lurking (plus you guys seem cool :D ).
About me:
1. I actually found this site after hours of combing the internet lol
2. I am an INFP
3. Huge Potterhead! Pottermore sorted me in Hufflepuff
4. Visiting Japan soon this year (<<< hahaha love this emoticon)

Hi! I am ash or ashinjapan / fallenangelash back on the old forums. I mostly lurked back there!

I'm 26, cancer, ENFP and (surprise!) as the name suggests I live in Tokyo, Japan.

I hope I can get to know you guys a lot better

okay.

The one time i did the Myers-Briggs-thing (free version) I was an ISTP, but I have no idea what it actually means, apart from me being an introvert (already knew that)

Avocado is the BEST but it's an eternal struggle to find good quality avocado where i live. A trip to chile was avocado heaven. (PALTA!!)

Pottermore put me in Slytherin. I don't even know if I spelled that correctly, never read the books tbh. But I have the personality of a hobbit, so that doesn't seem right.

I'm in my thirties and I have no idea how I ended up being this involved in two strangers lives and a forum discussing them. Signing up to Gigi was the first time I ever did something like this (although on second thought, I did write a letter to the Space: Above and Beyond-Fanclub after the show was axed…never joined though).

As a teen, I was a huge science-fiction nerd (see above). The only merch I ever owned were Star-Trek calendars.

I enjoy drinking alone. I'm having a rum and coke right now.

All the responses here made me curious so I did a freebie test thing and apparently I'm INFJ.

Also, Hufflepuff.

I can't be the only E-, (even part-time...!) surely?! Jeez.
I suppose the fact I'm your stereotypical "sunshine and showers" Gemini ties into that though.

ESFP "sunshine and showers" is a great description though, maybe I was supposed to be a Gemini.

It looks like a lot of people on this forum are introverts and not heterosexual, which is pretty interesting. One has to wonder if this is because if the type of person that is likely to get heavily involved in fandom and post on a fan forums is more likely to fit a certain 'profile,' or the kind of people who watch Dan and Phil specifically fit a certain profile. I would say it's probably a mix of both.

Tis true, but I'm actually very quiet and reserved when I'm not teaching or literally or figuratively "on stage" That's where all the I-s come in, I suppose.

Fun story, my parents were called in to see my head of house at high school, as staff were all concerned at how shy, quiet, unconfident, etc I was at school. My Mum actually laughed in her face for a full five minutes, then asked if they knew what I had been doing every night that week (soloing on stage in front of 2,100 people) and if they were still concerned. Also not to bother her again, unless I was either misbehaving, or I was causing concern academically.

My sunshine and showers most dramatically manifests itself if I ever lose my temper. Properly. Which I don't do often, thank goodness.

I guess I'll just join in and say that apparently I'm INTP! Though I don't think the results are really that defining, they tend to change if you do the test often and they're horrible for career choice things etc for witch they are used for far too often, but it's a nice way to learn more about yourself and to give other people an idea what you're about. Gotta say though that a lot of the things that led to that result might be due to my ADD, so I don't feel like it's my "real" personality in a sense. Also yay houses, I'm a proud Hufflepuff!

It's interesting how little there are of E-people here. Extroverted people stereotypically are very chatty and all that, so I thought it would be likely that more of them liked talking to likeminded people about their obsessions, like we do here. :? Maybe it's just easier for the non-shy extroverts to find similar people and make just make friends with those instead of talking about stuff through forums?

Hello!
This is my first post... long time lurker etc. etc.
- 25 year old female from Canada
- Also INFJ and Hufflepuff
- I have had my Youtube account (even though I have never posted anything) since 2006
- Have been a proper fan of Dan and Phil since late 2011/ early 2012
- Huge Disney and Harry Potter nerd :)
I don't know how much I will be involved in this site, but I thought I would get over the nerves of making a first post!

so I read only the first page of this thread so far so I'll respond with that and if I have time I'll go over the rest cause I see ppl replying now with test results
so things I wouldn't normally tell about myself, ok...
- I am autistic, so 75% of time it's very hard for my to be in this phandom, cause ppl are highly sarcastic, which can be extremely hurtful cause I take written comments many times literally. (to be honest I regard sarcasm the worst human trait, which is funny for someone who got here watching Dan videos...) And also in contrast to other fandoms phandom is very picky in their speech and eloquent which makes me very uncomfortable to express myself (because it is a myth that autistic ppl are highly intelligent). But I really want to be parts of something I enjoy, but yeah, sometimes I wonder that maybe I should just shut up and only read things without participating
- I'm lesbian and demisexual

I guess I'll jump on board with this

- I'm a 26 year old female (turning 27 soon!), I've only ever been in one relationship which only lasted a month when I was 16 years old. We only ever kissed and kissing him was weird. I do crush on the opposite sex but that's as far as it goes.

- I'm terrified of any kind of intimate relationships. I don't want it. I don't even want anyone to touch me in that-kind-of-way. I don't want to make out with anyone and the thought of it grosses me out. (I've always thought I was weird for thinking that way, but maybe it's just because I haven't met the right one yet? eh? hopefully.)

- I've never been in love - as I said above, all I've ever felt were small little crushes that fade away after a while - what's wrong with me? (Part of me is hoping this is just because I haven't met the "right" one yet and that hopefully if I do meet someone I like I'll be able to crush on him, which then leads to me falling for him. I just want to experience a lovely little relationship with lots of feelings - I want to be comfortable enough with someone else that I feel comfortable taking things to the next level, but that's kind of hard to do because there is really no dating scene where I live. People usually just hook up right away. I haven't met anyone that's willing to take it slowly, get to know eachother, fall for eachother. Am I asking for too much here?)

- I read Sterek fanfiction (it's the only fanfiction I read, I just can't read fanfiction that deals with real life people. If it's characters on a show I'm good but so far the only fanfiction I've been interested in is Sterek.)

- I spend way too much time on Youtube watching D&P, random vloggers and Sims building/decorating videos.

- I never had that many friends when I was younger or now, I was bullied a lot, so I learned to spend my time alone and I prefer it now.

- I'm addicted to Sims! But I only build/decorate in Sims, I never actually play with the sims themselves.

well.. I think that's it. This is good online therapy! Sorry for the essay above... :)
