Ok I know I just made a post like last week talking about my dream for Phil to do a nail art video, BUT I have another vid idea.

Today's future AP content manifestation is:
a furniture building/assembling video.

Phil should just hire you to come up with all of his video ideas, honestly. Obviously the wardrobe is classic but I feel like it could have a different vibe this go around?

Apparently Dan was trending earlier because a popular Minecraft youtuber said a girl once dated him because she had a crush on Dan Howell and they looked alike... lmfao. If anyone has that clip please drop it.

Does anyone remember a clip of Dan talking in front of a white glass display cabinet in the living flat? I have this really vivid memory of him posting maybe an insta story or something in their bedroom (at least that's my best guess) with this cabinet in the background. It had one of the BONCAs awards on it (I think it was best collaboration) and Dan's wooden box too. I've combed through the insta stories on the IDB YouTube and haven't had any luck.

I've asked this before but just in case it suddenly triggers a memory with someone, I'll ask again because it's driving me actually mad. I don't think I have a vivid enough imagination to have dreamt it but it's getting to the point I really think I might have!

Edit: may not have been an insta story but I think it was in portrait mode so just something to that effect

The age of that clip explains why that hard drive was so big. I was like "holy heck how old is that hard drive" when Phil pulled it out. It looked like a 256 or 512G hard drive circa 2012 when they moved to London.

Phil saw I was really going through it these past few days and decided to give out a treat.

The video was really great. It gave me best laughs I've had all week. So many cute memories and domestic moments and dan's giggling behind the camera (and the foot content, i know some of you weirdos are into that)

I got the feeling this might be the last video from this flat?

Watched a second time and oof I loved this video so much.

Laughed so hard at Phil telling the story of the guy at the photobooth. Especially the little sass there about they guy mostly being into Dan.

The part with the foot bath sludge was anything but relaxing, but such classic Phil. It nicely broke up the 'set' part of the video, adding a nice bit of candid reality. And we got Dan The (Talking!) Cameraman out of it. My thoughts are with the phandom's resident foot fetishists. Y'all really got baited with the promise of feet there, only to get some mosaic blur.

I'M SO SAD THEY'RE GETTING RID OF AMPERSAND LIGHT Seeing them finally being done with that mirror and the Hulk and Iron Man posters is bittersweet too. I never liked them because they were very '20 something nerd's first flat' decor, but they were so iconic for such a long time.

btw the skin fic reference in the year 2021 was a choice. An unnecessary choice. Thanks Phil.

Some thoughts re: the video now that I've had a few min to rewatch and get past all of my emotions:

• The nail filing moment? Absolutely the best D&P content we've gotten in the last 3 years, don't @ me.
• Whoever's getting D&P's donated red mirror and Marvel posters better know how #blessed they are.
• @9:37 "...the ~frick~ is all this?" Really felt like a natural Phil moment to me like we rarely see. Honestly that entire foot bath setup did. Their banter? Phil needing to read everything 2 inches from his face? I've never felt more alive.
• Third polaroid is for sure a dog (idk why I needed that confirmation)... and probably Colin, though the picture looks unfamiliar:
  
• I'm like 99.999999% their new place is gonna be Way Up High - their preference in apartments just screams penthouse.
• Them getting rid of so much memorable (to us) shit? God, you just KNOW the new place is gonna be Peak Design. Stunning. Beautiful.

I did not enjoy as much because in this one Phil sounds a bit forced in his good humour? His voice, maybe, raises to excitement and goes back to a flat tone? I don't really know. Maybe some background nervousness?

I know Phil's insecure inside. I wonder if he feels like he has to put on more work to find his audience? I don't know (x2!). Maybe it is that you can hear more clearly the difference between his "resting"/normal voice and the one he uses for the videos and thus you more acutely perceive that one is a persona and the other a person.

Even in the Stereo video with Dan, he sounded like he was somewhere else and had to perform.

Also, good luck to everyone in London who, when charity shops reopen, will find those tings laying around!!

I’ve gotten the impression the move is closer than they let on.

I never thought I’d say this but I think I’m going to miss the filming flat. I never got attached to it like the last apartment but their new place is such a ? and I’m kind of nervous for all the changes.
