I wanted to take part in the #busgate, but you guys are too fast and also amazing!!

I was trying to watch and pause multiple times the video of them getting on the bus after yesterday's show (http://riandawsoff.tumblr.com/) to get some glimpses of the interior to compare with the pictures on the bus rental website, but without success...I hope somebody will post a better video/picture after today's show to get some more details... :mrgreen:

i just checked the video from earlier and was really confused when i saw it was red because i thought it was tan-ish so i was looking for that

It's times like these during the whole bus debacle that I do feel sorry for them. Idk, I know I'm part of the problem, but still. Particularly if they are really just platonic friends. Maybe that's the real reason they've been single for so long, imagine explaining to a prospective date about all of the shipping fangirls who freak out about you sharing a bed with your friend. (Particularly if that person is a YouTuber and will have heard all the rumors through the grapevine. )

I don't know I think that maybe to a person not involved in YT and who wasn't really an internet person the shipping and the fans may all be too weird to deal with but I'd think another youtuber would know how these things work and would be able to deal with that stuff.
It's like when actors say about how dating someone else in the same business makes it easier because they understand how everything works it's probably the same with youtubers. You date another youtuber and you not only have a shared interest but they understand your life better.

That being said I would feel very sorry for any romantic partner of Dan and Phil who was revealed now.
After six years of presenting themselves as single either having a romantic partner would be a massive deal not just for the shippers whose Phan dreams were crushed but even for the parts of the fandom who think D&P are a platonic friendship. Between the detectives digging into every area of their lives, the upset shippers and the 12 year olds who want to marry D&P themselves that would be quite the storm to weather.

I have no doubt though that there would be people willing to weather that storm for either D&P so I doubt the phandom are what keeps them single (if they actually are).

Wow, a lot has happened today. I'm so excited for Phil, and although I see where people are coming from I am still a creeper and I want to know what their bus layout looks like... Which we might not know until the next live show, and even then they might be in a hotel or whatever.
Also, unfortunately I agree in that we should take the nail polish promise with a grain of salt. I would rather see him wear black than those wet n wild colors anyway, so it might be fore the best.

Of course this whole discussion is purely theoretical but I'll chime in anyway I think I'm with bedhead on this one. A YouTuber would know all the details of the job so that would be an advantage, but at the same time a YouTuber would be fully aware of what a ginormous freaking beast Phan (as a ship) is. It's of epic proportions. And that would freak anybody out, I think. Dating one of them could be compared to poking a sleeping dragon in the eyes while being fully aware of the possible danger.
So the only possibility of this hypothetical significant other not being totally freaked out is if they were quite disconnected from the social media. Maybe someone akin to Louise's new partner (from what I gathered he seems quite private and not interested in her online presence at all).

Basically what I'm saying is: they only way this significant other different than Dan or Phil wouldn't be massively freaked out (at least at the begining) by the prospect of Phan and crazy Phan shippers is if this person was totally ignorant about it And I mean the I don't know how to Internet what even is google level
