Oh, remember Dan said the last merch was his penultimate drop? Maybe they did a photoshoot at the same time. The professional photographer would have been there for Dan's merch. In that case it would have been more convenient for her to photograph both of them. That could explain the change. I guess we'll see if Dan hints at new merch soon? I can't imagine he's looking forward to that, if so.

I also realized we still don’t have any ideas about what his hoodie is about. Why couldn’t he have waited for this merch drop? Why was there no tease? Is he ever going to mention it again?

Didn't he put up an instastory poll a couple of months ago saying something along the lines of 'which would people prefer, hot chocolate or coffee?'. Sounds like one of those plus pyjamas for winter merch to me for sure

If it's hot chocolate, I'll buy it, I still need to order the fox jumper anyways. I trust him that it won't be like Tesco own brand quality. (My first thought was author pic too though, we wish.)

I was kinda sad that Dan isn’t his personal merch photographer any more, but then I remembered Dan has a merch drop coming sometime as well so maybe they just got the photos taken at the same time/place cos it’s easier.

I personally prefer coffee of the two but I suppose hot chocolate *is* more festive, and I think it won his insta poll?

Oh, idk, if Tesco’s own brand hot chocolate powder is anything like Sainsbury’s, it’s all right. I’ve got a fancy one and it doesn’t really work properly, half of it doesn’t dissolve, and it’s kinda bitter. Still, intrigued to see what he’ll be offering.

I only really like a nice dark hot chocolate, I like it a bit more bitter than sweet, which is why I'm #TeamCoffee... but either way I'm super intrigued.

I'm intrigued by what the merch could be. Selfishly I'm hoping for coffee rather than hot chocolate as I am a sucker for Phil's merch and don't eat/drink chocolate so I don't want to miss out.
Speaking of merch, I got an email today to say my hoodie has been delayed as there has been 'a slight delivery delay' but they should begin shipping out 9th Dec. It will be like an extra Christmas gift for myself

I'm also on team coffee- I much prefer it to hot chocolate, which can be overwhelmingly sweet sometimes. But since I'm weak-willed trash I'd probably buy it anyway

It would be weird to have new individual merch launch on the dnp shop but I can see them doing that for the holidays but if they give us joint merch or a joint shop for individual merch there’d better be joint content is all I’m saying

I'm just saying, considering people have been lamenting the shipping fees of their individuals shops for a year now, complaining that it's awful to pay two different shipping fees when you'd like to buy things off of both of them - joining the shops just to take advantage of the holiday, when we're into a 11 months hiatus of joint content would be SO Bad.

It could be solo merch but their individual shops are both up and running. I guess it could be a black friday sale but, and I'm asking seriously, what merch was even still up on the dnp shop?
