I loved how long he rambled on about Chris Pine's beauty, that's a new level of expressing attraction I feel like and I am happy.
I also very much enjoyed that he talked politics a bit more in depth, made it again quite clear that his views are more on the liberal side (which, well, no surprise) and said he was gonna do a video on it!
aaaand interesting comment about a possible video idea for a tinder spon. I'm gonna tell my head to shut up about all the things it's imagining right now. I'm excited though for what he might be coming up with!

pleasant liveshow overall, but i got some tense vibes from him which made it lowkey stressful for me to watch especially in the beginning.

he said something like "yes...tinder...good partnership" about the spon in a sarcastic voice and then mentioned pretty briefly that he might do a video too but it wasn't set in stone yet. he's going to film another video first. at least that's how i understood him. and he said about phil's video that it was fun, but he cringed all the time while watching it and wanted it to end.

I was so bored the first 10 minutes, I don’t really care about the header and icon that much.

Lil birthday haul.
Dan is disappointed that the fidget spinner from Phil is not black. Also Phil has pretty much stolen it.
Phil also got him something that changes color and ‘predicts the weather’. A very Phil gift.
A friend gave him a plastic bonsai tree, the same friend that almost killed his tree by not watering it.
Another friend gave him sunflowers. Cute. Though apparently Dan hates sunflowers. Wow.
His family gave him a shirt with Colin the dog on it, which I think is cute.

Phil is away at a family thing for a few things again. Back to his wife and baby.
I’m thinking we won’t get a Phil live show this Thursday. And later confirmed by Phil via Dan.

We should not judge Phil for pretending to be a snowdude on the internet according to Dan since we’ve all been there. The vid made Dan laugh a bit, but it mostly made him cringe.

Dan might do a Tinder spon as well, though he has an idea for a different dinof vid first.

Dan is Phil's PR agent. Kind of true.

im not going to lie...the mood i got from him was that he did not like phil's video at all, which was a strange thing coming from dan. idk if it's because he doesn't like tinder as a company or if he just didn't like the video but he was being very negative about it overall in my perspective.

idk this liveshow felt so weird to me? like im trying not to be extra as hell but phil went all no homo in a tinder spon of all things yesterday and then in today's liveshow dan 1. insinuated he didn't like phil's birthday gifts, 2. seemed he had HOURS on his birthday to just sit on tumblr/twitter?, 3. seemed really short tempered when a girl asked where phil was and he said NOT HERE, 4. what is going on with phil he was with family last week and now he's 'with family' again???, 5. Dan threw his phone down and was like 'cause im phil's PR agent...', 6. kept saying 'i' watched this and 'thank you for watching MY videos' and very 'me' language which isn't normal for him, 7. i mentioned this above but he seemed to not like phil's video?

(i was just listening and not watching so i don't know his mood). He was talking about Phil's video and joked not to judge him for roleplaying on AOL as a snowboarder because we all are guilty of it. And "someone" asked him if he'll do one too and he said maybe but not the same type of video. +what others have said.

I saw it totally different, I don't think he disliked Phil's vid though it isn't something Dan would make. But then I don't agree at all with the fact that Phil's went all no homo in his tinder vid. Like I just don't understand that thought at all.
As far the rest I just saw that as Dan being Dan, nothing that he wouldn't say or do in other live shows.

I just had a look through an assortment of videos that would be flypaper for those types of comments and it appears that deppy do filter out "phan". However, variants like "phandom," "phanfiction," etc. were visible. I also saw some comments that looked like they were written specifically to get around the filter (ph*n, pha??n). IIRC, you can have a standard filter that automatically gets applied to every video you upload, and then you can adjust it for individual videos as needed.

This all sounds very intriguing but now it's my turn to be over dramatic by going worst-case and wondering if maybe someone in Phil's family is in bad health at the moment? Or else it's family wedding season, idk. Thanks for all the answers, now I'm ready to be stressed watching it though.

Glad I'm not the only one to think that. He did seem to relax a bit later in the show, but I feel like he was a bit off today... in a weird mood or something, maybe. He looks lovely, though. Those curls are glorious.

yeah the first thought i had was something was wrong with a family member and he's going to be with them, but that doesn't explain why dan was seemingly so short tempered verging on angry? like dan was trying to be funny/sarcastic but there was bite behind it that made me go

I didn't take notes as I was watching on Tumblr on my iPad, but overall nice ls. Bit of grumpy graphic designer/ungrateful birthday boy at the beginning (doesn't like sunflowers, plastic bonsai- well who can blame him, Phil can keep the fidget spinner after hogging it, weather glass-not scientific and the family dog tee), transitioning to actually grateful birthday boy (messages, art work).

I fell in love again when he was talking about Wonder Woman and films: their quality, content and impact. Also when he was geeking out about Pokémon and video games (ooo Undertale!) and politics. Basically I love Dan talking about things he's passionate about, not Dan talking about himself and his brand, but I understand that the ls is a bit of a sounding board for his creative ideas, so that's fine.

Looking forward to the Sims tomorrow. He didn't fully confirm he would be doing a Tinder spon, but it was implied, he used the word partnership or something. Not going to do the same thing as Phil's (whether that means cringe challenge or reading correspondences, probs both. I didn't get the sense that he disliked it btw, I was just happy he was sharing that he watched it as the challenge.) but may do something. And it sounded like it would not be his next video which he is focusing on now.

Someone asked where Phil was and he forcefully said "NOT HERE Karina!" and I found that very amusing. Dan said he's away for a few days, though I'm wondering if it's more like almost a week since Father's Day is this weekend. But Dan says he needs complete alone time, so that's good. I don't think there is anything to worry about... and now I'm second guessing myself, with Phil texting Dan there would be no liveshow. Maybe it was just a reminder. Family health is one thing I don't feel comfortable speculating on myself.

Edit: Why am I so slow at writing these? lurker and SquishPhan said basically everything I was trying to say, but I did see it until after. A couple things to add. I find it interesting that in this ls at least Dan's "attraction" to people was presented as jealousy. Main case is Chris Pine. But earlier he mentioned comparing himself to Jennifer Lawerence and her success, though he didn't mention anything about attraction/beauty this time. There was also an interesting comment about the lgbt community appreciating memes and the Babadook (at Pride), then that was brought round to him appreciating memes and something else later. I dunno I got a strong parallel in that moment, but it could be nothing.

I'm not going to join that discussion because I haven't watched the liveshow but I don't think we should call it no-homoing when Phil talks about an internet girlfriend he once had. We've just had a bi-erasure discussion earlier today and this is kind of it (regardless of whether Phil is actually bi or not, what do I know). Mentioning attraction to women doesn't mean someone's straight or implying they're straight at all. Right, just wanted to get that off my chest.

Censoring: I don't know but I'd be really disappointed if Phil actually deleted comments about Shawna's views. Something about that thought really makes me uncomfortable and I hope that's not what happened. Ignoring her views and deciding for himself to still be friends with her is one thing but deleting comments by people informing others of her views is just... wrong (unless the comments were hateful of course, I'd understand why he'd delete those). I can't really see him do something like this though and I hope I'm right about that.

Yeah, I got that feeling too. I would have liked to see him a little more grateful for his presents, but maybe that reaction was kinda part of his brand or something...
Dan usually shows his true emotions more easily than Phil, so this ls did leave a bitter taste in my mouth, but then again, this might just be the "edgy, dark Dan", or maybe he was having a bad day.

Lol whats up with Dan's family giving him stuff with a picture of their dog printed on it. Would love to see him wearing that shirt though, not gonna lie.
