I watched it, I quite like them. Phil said some good stuff. He’s naming the pigeons near the flat, there’s one called Paul.

Thanks so much I was putting off watching because I find the whole concept and channel annoying. I like Phil with decorative zips who knew.

Phanshy, thanks for the Novympia video you posted upthread. I was not familiar with them but I really enjoyed their discussion about gender roles (and there were so many sad parallels with the bullying they describe and what Dan talked about in BIG).

I'm super excited for this content. Two ten minute segments? It's like the equivalent of a youtube video from each of them. Or based on Dan's pre-2016 youtube video lengths, two and a half from him.

Phil was so cute in his sparkly jacket and sequin background and no shock at him doing a quiz show lol

Phil's segment was great! Certainly the most interesting part of the stream so far, but better than that, classic Phil.

Loved Phil wearing Dan's jacket. Loved how the quiz was so ridiculous. It was oddly endearing in how... terrible it was.

Based on how simple Phil's segment was, my best guess for Dan's is that he's gonna lead a meditation or something.

Phil looked so good and absolutely fucking killed me with the boncas glittery jacket, that hit me right in the feels. Definitely the best thing about the livestream and the difference with the previous guy was staggering, Phil immediately interacted (as much as he could) with the audience and was very energetic, the other guy wasn't even looking at the camera basically.

I know some people are thinking it's pre-recorded, I wouldn't be surprised but I also think there's a huge possibility he was live and Dan was behind the camera working the obs software since there was a specific knock so close to the microphone!

Phil was lovely! He seemed so natural and energetic ahh. Loved it

Whoever thought it was a good idea to separate Dan and Phil by this much especially with Dan being second vastly overestimated the patience of the phandom and its ability to get in to arguments in the chat with different fandoms.

I'm excited for Dans segment, don't get me wrong, but people spamming the chat with countdowns is kind of disrespectful to the other creators. Like -they aren't his warm up gig

It's nice YouTube understands that putting Dan so close to the end is keeping all of us glued to the stream.

As for the chat: there's never anything good to say about the chat!

For someone who hasn't spent any time in front of the camera for a very long time, he sure hasn't lost any of his presence. I really miss Dan and I just hope whatever he's "cooking" lives up to the hype lol.
