My tip is not watch it, read IDB, sleep on it, then decide if you're going to watch it or not. Did that with Phil's one and did watch it and it was allright. Got my cringe all out my system beforehand

I am also filled with dread for some reason... why must Dan be so ominous about everything? Maybe I'm just bitter because I was looking forward to watching the liveshow while doing laundry before the MLB All Star game comes on, but now I'm too busy anxiously refreshing Dan's twitter to start my laundry...

i feel the same way and idek why... i usually like dan's videos but he's so dramatic before his uploads that i start to get anxious about them, even though if i'm really chill when i actually don't like something. things were easier when i never checked his channel and just watched what my friend sent me...

I'm actually more worried about the response of some of the fans if this is the case than anything that might actually be in the video. If he does exactly that, could we here on IDB please agree to be supportive and repress our inner savage shippers for his sake? The man's allowed to have a life, and it may not be what our collective fantasies dictate.

I love ISG. It's fun and I think that would be a comfortable way to approach the spon, so that's what I'm gonna hope for!

It's okay, I feel exactly the same! I'm not gonna be sad if he says something like that (I'd be proud of him). I'm more excited/anxious to see what he's gonna do, I wish he'd just dropped it without telling us

Yeah, I'm going to have to do that. I'm about to head home from work now anyway, so it'll be a good two hours before I can see it anyway. I might just wait for someone's timestamps before I just check out the cute/interesting bits. If I don't know the entire context, it won't be as bad!

(Althought lbr, there's no real way to make 'Phil catfished someone when he was a teenager' palatable to me @_@)

I'm very curious about what approach he's gonna take but that's about the extent of it. I really liked Phil's Tinder spon, so this could be pretty good too.

As a natural shit stirrer I am really hoping the vid justifies some dramatic reactions from IDB

But previous experiences with Danyul's overhyping make me wanna say its gonna be nothing special (just very cringe)

I just honestly see no point worrying about this vid when we don't really know much about it. I mean Phil did one without hinting once at being single, have some faith people.

I'm kind of excied to see what Dan is going to do with tinder spon.

I mentioned this in the chat, but decided to also post this here.

While I'm just as nervous about it as everybody else, and also prone to second hand embarrassment, I'm still pretty excited. While I know some people don't like the idea of Dan doing a tinder spon, I like to think that he is availing of the opportunity of being implicit to his audience more than he has before, and this will be y who he interacts with (ie. men/women/both). I know many people here don't need further "convincing" but it would reaffirm what you already know, and also be another milestone for Dan. Of course, we haven't actually seen the video yet, and don't know if Dan has overhype it. However, his tweet is pretty damn suggestive that the video will leave a lot to talk about.

Dan's always so dramatic. He knows people get all keyed up, so I'm guessing he just does it because he likes sit back and watch the frenzy
