I too preordered from the D&P US shop and when I ordered they said I would get an email when it ships. According to the website it shipped the 2nd (yesterday) but I am still looking around...

UPDATE: I found my confirmation email and emailed them back asking if the book had shipped yet. I will let you know

I was also told I'd get an email, but I haven't gotten one and I checked the status of my order on the website and it isn't listed as shipped on there either.

Same. I sent them an email to see what was going on because I have not heard from them. I will let you know what I hear back, if I do, because it's nearly 530PM in Florida.

I'm still not convinced about buying DAPGO, I'll probably decide according to reactions to the enhanced ebook version. I'm interested in how DAPGOOSE went though.

Yuri on Ice episode 5 just came out and I really want to see Dan eating his own hat because Yuri and Victor have a real relationship and it's handled in a pretty respectful way and beautiful and I may have cried a little. Whether it as him or them, it definitely wasn't her, yep.

And I actually wouldn't count it as a slip up, any more than I'd count Dan using a non gender specific pronoun when talking about Phil having sex in that spooky week video would be. Seems like just a little more of that continued subtle reband. Phil is seeding more of that that "blurry sexuality" neutrality that Dan perfected into his language.

I'm also of the mind that Phil's behaviour isn't a slip-up lately. I think he's just owning himself a little more.

He was switching to female pronouns at the first sign of romantic context in the gaming chimp bot video not so long ago, so this thing onstage felt significant. good for him. i actually do hope more people notice and encourage him, like the huge amounts of attention Dan gets for it.

I am loving looking through fan's videos of dapgoose event, even though i feel i'm spoiling myself slightly for the main channel vid! some of the anecdotes they told were freaking adorable.

The line was horrific, so I just did a driveby. (I don't do lines...) Since early voting ends tomorrow, I'll probably vote on the official Election Day at the local polling place (traditionally the second Tuesday in November, i.e. next week.) The problem is that old people tend to vote more than younger people, and voting technology seems to change every election. So mix old people, change, and add new technology, tada! long lines. No digital (online) voting - people are too paranoid (and let's face it, with all the shenanigans with the DNC email thefts / WikiLeaks, and accusations of Russian state sponsored hacking, online voting would release a shitstorm.) We had touch screens for the last two election cycles (which honestly could have designed better,) but now we have reverted to machine readable paper ballots (like we had before.)

If Dan hadn't uploaded the gig by the time I get home tomorrow I will edit all the videos together and upload them. Twitter only allows 45 seconds per upload. The hour they did went so quick though, I haven't even looked at the book yet as we went to the pub straight after but for sure they could have done at least another hour.

ps. I was in touching distance of Darla tonight. She gave Dan a replica gatorland hat.
