ok im initially also camp "that was probably not a butt slap but i definitely think they do it a lot", but today at work we had this one little nugget who just wONT. SLEEP. so i was in the nap room helping him by patting his bum for ages (context: i work with babies), then my mind started to wander back into the butt slapping conspiracy and.......i swear its the same sound. like, its not the sound of a hard smack, also theres a difference in the sound depending on the distance of where the hand initially started and then the bum itself. the farther the hand started, the "higher" the tone? and the closer the distance, the "lower" the tone? am i making nay sense? probably not. i do realize i might sound crazy but i was in that fricking nap room for almost half an hour with a baby throwing a tantrum guys...maybe its escapism, maybe im just really invested in this theory. who knows

All I’ve heard from people who have gone whale watching is that it’s much less impressive than you expect. Dan and Phil certainly look pleased on their boat, though, so I am interested in how this develops.

I’m kind of hoping they don’t say anything else iconic before we hit 40 pages though because I’ve never related to a potential thread title more than i can't i don't have legs.

The nature dates are probably my favourite thing about the tour. It feels like getting a peek into a private photo album (in a consensual, non creepy way). I'm looking forward so some whales!
