well well well. seems like my clown ass might be redownloading stereo after all. With Phil posting the videos and y'all lovelies posting the full audios afterwards I was content with that but I might have to get on the hype train and try to listen to this one live.

Honestly, I don't expect them to talk about anything big, and although Dan hinted in that tweet a while back I wouldn't expect them to talk about moving or anything like that until after it's done. But I am just looking forward to hearing them chat shit. Miss those joint bants like mad. I will also look forward to whatever clickbaity title Phil manages to come up with for it, even though the video won't need it for the views 'cause people will come for the joint content.

Also I'm loling at the fact that Phil's hint posts for all previous guests were like nice-ish headshots of them and the video he used for Dan is just a random video from the (no longer living in) living flat, which has to be at least like a month old?? From the rare video like that that they do post I've always found it really endearing that they just film/take pictures of each other doing funny shit sometimes, not necessarily to ever post but just for their own enjoyment and laughs.

i've honestly reached the point where the only disappointing thing they could say is that they're breaking up -- and (while i don't want to strike fear into the hearts of anyone because i don't think that's a thing) if they are, whatever. they've already publicly distanced themselves from each other, nothing is going to change for me at this rate.

but... i know that that's not the case and therefore there is literally nothing else they could possible say that would make me sad. i know i'm tempting fate right now, but truly --- i've come to expect so little. in fact, i've come to expect nothing. so anything sounds good to me!

this response was depressing, i know, but truthfully i meant it as a positive. i'm literally excited for them to talk to each other in front of me. that, alone, is deeply exciting

Seriously considering creating a bingo board for this last stereo show with my friends. Will the old tried and true topics/jokes make it onto this bingo?! So far I’m expecting plant jokes, pigeon jokes, plugs for Dan’s book, and Dan becoming jokingly “frustrated” with Phil. Any newer material will honestly be a shock...but I’m still looking forward to this more than just about anything for the rest of this year.

I've listened to that four minute clip about seven times now.

In a way I think it's helping me prepare for the actual show later because I was feeling weird and like... nervous about it? Idk. Just, a lot of emotional overstimulation at once, but listening to them talk about nothing for four minutes kind of reminded that, oh yeah, this is just Dan and Phil, and this is how they are and I know them and this part of them hasn't changed, and this is gonna be good.

This made me even MORE excited, if that were possible. Even if they just take cringe messages and play bucket of doom or something for 45 mins, I’ll be delighted.

I’m also glad to hear that they’re sitting next to each other for it, and didn’t have some sort of setup where they’re in different parts of the flat (which still would have been amazing, but this way the video will have them in! the! same! space!!).

LOL! I loved waking up to this. Hilariously, I had this thought yesterday that they should probably test the Stereo app while sitting in the same room (because filming in separate rooms would genuinely be ridiculous). And then I immediately thought - well, everyone would listen in, so they should make fake usernames.

Guess they didn't go with my genius, unpublished plan. SMH.

I suppose since it's a phone app it might be a bit more cumbersome to make second accounts to test with but it was/is a good idea.

With the amount of people showing up for just the test, it definitely seems like the app might be overrun, I may tune in or just wait and listen back tbh. While I appreciate Dizzy's integrity of waiting until Phil's video is up to post the full show audio, I feel like this one will be up in multiple places asap and I probably won't have the patience to wait until Phil's upload.

It's so interesting how by watching old videos constantly, even though I know we've barely heard any fresh extended bants from them in two years it sounds completely normal and like I heard them yesterday (cause I guess I did, it was just them 4 years ago) it's just one of those odd feelings where so much but yet so little has changed.

Also if they are sitting/filming together for it hopefully that means proper camera set up for the video? Not that I mind the zoom screen recordings and I'm not one to be much of a stickler for quality but it would be nice.
