sparkle that would be amazing.

Lovely abridged Phil ls. His teeth look great. Very shiny. Why does him talking about the dentist make me smile? I hate going to the dentist. Low key mad at Dan for rock paper scissoring the responsibility of approaching the red trouser man when Phil could barely talk, but it is very them. Makes me wonder how many things are decided this way, even if it's sometimes just for show

Very gracious way to handle the merch leak. I know a boy who might like a pastel cloud backpack, but he doesn't really need a new one yet, maybe next year. I'm happy pastel plushies won (sorry pj peeps) and that they will attempt to make Dan's curly hair. I think we need a pastel poster too. Did I end up signing up for emails last time he told us to? I don't remember. Better make sure. (Yep, I am. Oh right, I ordered the Manchester shirt  )

Yay Anthony-Phil collab tomorrow, gaming video hopefully this weekend. Sounded positive about Dream Daddy (which I know nothing about but trust the phandom for suggesting it will be funny). Definitely picturing both Dan and Phil picking out aftershaves in the airport. This is a cute thing. Oh dear the "fruit" thing, he nibbled his arm too. I Phil.

Yes! I could actually see this being the case. Well, minus the fursonas. Way too tame of names for them. ;)

We're at my in-laws and our young gangly teen nephew referred to himself as "a meme lord" He's got the post-scene emo hair too. We might watch some DAPGAMES one of these evenings.

Phil liveshow timestamps:

:17 - Horse grooming.
1:02 - Swallowed a horse.
1:12 - Told by doctor not to do extended periods of talking.
1:36 - Talks about being cocky/getting a sore throat.
2:28 - Shoutout to anyone whose voice is currently breaking.
2:43 - Phil likes the word blob as a verb.
2:49 - Weirdly extensive talk about the dentist.
4:45 - Tests out his vocal range/nostalgic mention of doing that on the radio show mention.
5:27 - Philicia Keyes makes an appearance. (tm manged)
6:02 - Ear piercing talk. "You could get a whole plug in there if you wanted to." .... I mean.
6:40 - Phil will not be getting gauges.
7:15 - Wimbledon was amazing. Says he heard Dan talking about the "incident trying to get in" and then spons Dan's last liveshow/side channel.
7:55 - Red trousers guy story; did they also rock paper scissors to see who would take what Wimbledon story and retell it in a liveshow?
8:44 - Ben with the Red Pants told them lots of Wimbledon stories. Dan mostly spoke to him and Phil just nodded and smiled and hoped he wasn't rude.
11:27 - Talks about the new merch that definitely didn't already get leaked. Phil thanks Rachel for spreading some pre-hype then shows the bags.
13:36 - "They're kind of like if Dan and Phil got turned into bags."
14:23 - Sponning the shop (while Dan types in the background).
15:02 - Season two of plushies. (No wigs.)
16:37 - Dream Daddy. They're totally gonna play it.
17:34 - Favorite Muse album is Absolution, tied with Origin of Symmetry.
17:50 - No cologne, just deodorant. He buys 'cologne' (aftershave) at airports.
18:24 - Some very Dan like sarcasm from Phil with the 'smell like sunshine' answer.
19:52 - All about that DAPG promo.
20:00 - Band camp.
21:05 - Phil is going to get his voice box insured.
21:24 - Hair dyeing advice.
21:32 - High school advice.
22:05 - Thunderstorm. He's scared of lightning since the video where "our head" (hair) was standing on end.
23:19 - He's watched American Gods (visually very pleasing) and finished The Leftovers (incredible) and Game of Thrones.
24:20 - A good tv show is about the viewing experience. Highest quality, best snacks, lights down. It's a whole ritual.
24:40 - Fruit flies. Phil is fruit who tries to take a bite of himself. Phil is a cannifruit.
25:16 - They are definitely, totally playing Dream Daddy.
25:44 - Dan, Anthony, or a rat. "Obviously joking when I said I've been working on that concept for years."
26:33 - He is quite shiny today, needs to exfoliate.
27:33 - Collab with Phil on Anthony's channel tomorrow, gaming videos soon.

skepticism is getting out of hand, and each day we're moving further from God!!
New conspiracy: Buzzfeed is both sponning Dan and Phil, and is how they'll eventually come out.

Phil has done two Buzzfeed quizzes in a row.
The last one he did because Dan told him to.
Now Dan is cleverly seeding Buzzfeed comments with extremely vague allusions to his sexuality and being married.

Prediction: The week in March was them collaborating with buzzfeed to make just the perfect quiz to announce they're married, which Phil will do in a liveshow some time in August. (And it was so hard because they just couldn't agree on what the most appropriate gifs to use during a quiz announcing your sexuality/marriage/etc to the world.)

Prediction add-on: they told the Try Guys at Buzzfeed to do their impression at Vidcon that way to show their undying love for one another as a hint for the video

Watching Mr Dans ls...
He said 'where I'm currently living' (or something like that can't remember his exact phrasing) not 'home' in relation to the Tinder video.

Where i'm currently living does not imply permanent home, implies strong possibility of them moving again soon, I'm telling you all now that this is a 6 month lease and they're working on buying a house together and when they're settled in the bought house they will give us a house tour of this place that is also a #phanconfirmed but subtle, quite understated. Like photos of them being on the side or something that is OBVIOUSLY Dans being in Phil's shoebox bedroom

(or it could just be Dan using an odd turn of phrase and I'm reading too much into this as usual because I don't want to go to bed yet but need to be up at 8)

It would make sense for them to play Dream Daddy also from a business point of view. There is such a hype around the game right now that if they whacked out a gaming vid for the week-end, that could bring in some sweet £££.

Hello, new poster here, but a longtime lurker :D

I was reading the past few pages and the topic of dan and phil coming out in a documentary inspired me to finally post.

So back in 2012, I used to be obsessed with a band called R5, and two of the members had been rumored to be dating, but they had always denied it. Fast forward to 2015, R5 made a documentary sort of thing about their whole journey and they devoted a section to the confirmation of the ship that was once nothing but a rumor. Never in that entire section did they make it seem like it was a big deal; they just basically explained how they got together, and that was that. The way they spoke in that section of the documentary was as if they were aiming it at a fandom who already knew the relationship was real. The entire thing was so subtle, and everyone lost their sh*t, but we all went along with it and now they regularly upload videos of themselves going on dates and being all lovey dovey and it's a normal thing. At the time, this was a huge thing in that fandom. I'll even go as far as to say that the reaction was along the lines of if phan came out now. Anyways, my point is that no one saw it coming because it sounded so ridiculous at the time, but it worked. And I'm not saying dan and phil are in the exact same situation, but I personally think the chances of them doing something like that are extremely high. Ignoring the hype and going straight for confirmation is something I can totally see them doing. If you think about it from the view point of someone who believes that they're dating, they won't need to 'come out' because a simple confirmation will make everything obvious.

(this is my first post, have i done it right? I'm like a grandma when it comes to the internet tbh)

Hmm is Tom subtly hinting or just trying to build up some hype for the video/head off the inevitable 'where is Phil?' if it comes out and Phil's not in it?

I don't know if a lot of people have been @ tom with comments asking why phil wasn't in the screenshots and Tom saw that one and wanted to kind of answer to that, but that's what's most likely in my mind. Funnily my first thought was that he was being ironic or misleading and that Phil is going to pop up as a surprise in the end of the video (which I'm assuming is being released soon for him to be kind of hyping it with this like), but we'll see

IDK if you're rollin' with the fun conspiracy theory game we've been playing or not... But for a while now, I've legit been thinking this is a very real thing.

First and foremost, for a guy who likes a nice design/aesthetic, Dan sure is letting those boxes stay in the gaming room for a shockingly long time. As much as it's a cute joke, I feel like cardboard boxes are not a great decorative touch for a room that's consistently visible in one of your top-earning channels. But it's valid, if you're intending to move again soon.

I think we're all very aware at this point of the size of Phil's room. I call bullshit on that being a permanent situation.

Now think about their live-show backgrounds... Sure, Dan has a shelf of books behind him and a piano, but Phil has nothing but a wall now. They could easily pack everything up while still doing regular live shows and nobody would be the wiser. (Credit to alittledizzy on this point... We've bounced around this theory for a while.)

There's also all of that trouble they had in March? It's perfectly reasonable that there was something house-buying related that fell through. Here's a concise video of those comments:
So, in February he and Phil were doing a thing? Probably the secret project/documentary/whatever the fuck. But he separates that from whatever happened in March and notes that he might tell us about it. Assuming they did do a 6-month lease and rented in April-ish, we're coming up on 5 months and roughly the time in which Deps would move to their "forever home" or whatever the potential new place is. Dan would then be able to tell us about it, if he so chose.

Anyway... Obviously, this is all conjecture. But in combination with the "where I'm currently living" comment, it's sort of building upon itself. There's also the potential that their stay in the current place will be longer than 6 months, but IDK. I'm working off of some really loose clues here and they may not be moving at all.

Obligatory:

I've aways had this theory that they were gonna build their forever home and have it customized they way they want it to be. And I've seen a few other youtubers temporary move into apartments while the home is being bulit. So if they're building a house...

I agree; tweeting that he flirted with "everyone in a 1km radius" (if it's true) seems like a very easy way to get found by phannies - especially cause there was the guy who claimed to be one of the men in the video.

Another thing we havent discussed in a while was the fact how very similar the apartment was to the apartment that they didn't choose to live in when they moved to London (as shown in one of Phil's vids). If you had to rather spontaneously find a new apartment (because of house deal falling through)... calling landlords you had previously almost signed with sounds like a good idea

I felt like this was very confusing English, soz. I gave up on trying to sound smart since I graduated. Oops.

Obligatory:
Just for counter-argument's sake:

It would be a terrible waste of money to rent a more expensive place just for 6 months. They could've easily just spent a few more months in their old place.
The boxes in the gaming room is strange, but that room is part of the set which is full of old furniture not new stuff, it makes sense they wouldn't buy new stuff for it, plus Phil gave a good excuse for it.
And if they're going to live there for such a short period of time, why would Phil spend more money on giant houseplants just to decorate the background of his liveshow.

Otherwise, it's a good theory

Also, that Dan (apparently) did Tinder from his home (he can't show his face to the neighbors now). That seemed like an unnecessarily risky thing to do, but if they are moving soon it doesn't much matter.

Oops.
or it's not that a house purchase fell through, it's that they bought a place but it's in bad shape and all the plumbing needed to be redone or something and they are currently experiencing the joy of contractors.

Counter-arguments for your counter-argument :

Dan and Phil are in a place, monetarily, where they can afford to spend a little extra. If storage was becoming such a huge issues and their lease ended before they could move into their home, grabbing a place ahead of time to avoid extending another year makes sense. Then they can store all their stuff appropriately and live comfortably without having to tie themselves to that old place they hated for any longer. (And deal with stalky-mcstalkers.)

Your furniture point can actually be a reason to support the move. Why haven't they gotten new furniture for the gaming room? Waiting to move to another place before truly redecorating?

I've got no response for the houseplants, but there's no reason they can't make themselves comfortable. Plants are pretty easy to move, assuming they stay in their pot.
