Don't you think all the crew including D&P sleep a a lot in hotels. I tought they were going to sleep in the bus and use a hotel once in a while. But if you see the merch guys tweets they are a lot of time in hotels

What I love about this forum is that it isn't exclusive. We are all fans of Dan and Phil, no-one is more superior than anyone else whether you've made 1 post or 1,000. It would be a shame to lose that welcoming feeling here - it's what encourages people to de-lurk after all, as they feel safe to do so without being judged.

I often lurk as by the time I've read the thread my views have been voiced, often much more eloquently, by someone else. But it's still nice to feel that you can join the conversation if you wish.

It's also not exactly hard to find out pretty much anything you want if you dig deep enough (v day vid, old tweets etc.) so I'm not really sure what 'the greater phandom' is?

Maybe they were referring to info we have mentioned here, like the exact bus company or hotels. I also recall that a while ago someone mentioned the district they live in, but luckily it was something that got lost in the sea of messages.

Y'know, I've been wondering about what kind of contracts all the people involved have signed; like if non-disclosure type agreements were put into writing and how intensive they might be. Because for all the posting the merch/set people do on social media, they haven't posted (INSIDE) bus pics apart from that one time near the beginning. And I really don't care about D&P not visibly (or otherwise) hanging out with the merch crew, because I'm sure they're completely polite/friendly when they do interact. But D&P are private and don't seem to enjoy being in large groups of people (so why go sightseeing with a whole crowd when they can just go together/with one or two others).

BUUT I find it interesting that actual mentions of D&P themselves (rather than the tour in general) are also very sparse by everybody involved. So maybe they aren't really allowed to post about them or talk about them... (Like when one of the merch people got a little freaked out about whether her snapchat was privated properly- maybe not because she had anything to hide per se, but because whatever she had posted (a totally normal pic or vid with D&P in it) went against the contract?) They post random pics of Martyn & Cornelia all the time, no big deal, but D&P seem conspicuously off-limits..

Is that too ?

edit to be clearer: not even saying it's because they have anything to hide, but just to pre-emptively avoid any shitstorms if somebody casually posted something that looked/sounded [I don't even know]. The phandom can be like sharks and D&P just want to avoid the noobs spilling any blood into the water. You know?

But aside from that I'm pretty sure Dan and Phil are off limits. I guess the easiest way of making sure that everyone understands what to post and what not to post is just to put literally anything to do with them under the 'don't post' column.

I was wondering about that too, earlier I said that maybe D&P are worried about details about their personal life getting leaked, so they don't hang around the crew much/tell the crew much, maybe they are under some kind of contract. Which would be understandable since D&P are private people and the phandom is so quick to analyze everything they do (I am so guilty of that, haha, nothing wrong w it but it's what we do). Maybe if they were less private people we wouldn't do that but eh. But I agree that they just don't like crowd and it's pretty normal to go sightseeing without the crew.

I was thinking that as well!! It's strange, especially because the phone he was using in the 'How to Survive Exams' video is definitely not a 6/6s+ (it looks more like a 5s or SE), so I don't know why it would look that big in his pocket

Yeah I have given up too. I found some ray bans that are really similar but it is just the nose bridge that I cannot find with thick frames at the top!
Literally looked through sunglasses Hut, selfridges, house of Fraser, nordstrom and nothing.
The Dior composit ones are the most similar but they aren't it.
