I think he broke his 6+, and is waiting for the 7 to be released later this fall. He may also have repaired his 6+ and uses it exclusively for personal comms, and dedicating the 5 for business / youtube, insta, etc? IDK, but I find my 6+ just a little too big to jam into my front pocket (which is one reason why I wear cargo shorts almost year-round,) and thumb typing even though my hands are pretty big. The smaller 5 was easier to use one-handed.

I'm pretty sure that's actually an iPhone SE as the back flash is an oval (in the 5S and the SE) as opposed to a circle (iPhone 5)
Unlikely it's his "old" 5S, bc if I remember correctly upgraded from a black iPhone 5 to a gold 5S

About Dan's iPhone; I remember him saying in a ls that he smashed his iPhone 6+ after it was fixed previously (the first time he smashed the screen was when he dropped it at his family's at xmas, but that time it was fixed and then he did it again). He's said he can't wait for the iPhone 7+ to come out because he hates the iPhone 5 (again, another ls), so it's definitely his old iPhone 5 that he's using because he doesn't see the point in upgrading with the iPhone 7+ coming out in September.

Phil did see the point though, because he got the white iPhone 6S before Tatinof America so I guess is unlikely to get the 7 in September.

I swear I saw those in the old Tim Burton Beetlejuice movie. I don't mind his hoodie so much really. One of the best things out of the line. And it definitely goes with his aesthetic. That's what I was thinking too! It would have made sense for him to get that after he smashed his 6+, because the SE is basically the same internals as the 6S, just a smaller external and $250 cheaper.

I personally love Kanye because I like his music and how self-aware he is. He's an arrogant bastard with a lot of bad opinions sure but to many young, black men (and indeed many others) he's an icon - unapologetically confident and sure of his own capabilities. I've always liked his music (I mean he has 21 grammys for a reason imo) because it's well thought-out and constructed, but music is subjective! I genuinely think My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the best albums of its decade

I have been unable to get aboard the Kanye bus. Attitude, composure and grace mean a lot to me, and I find nothing about his noteworthy. I personally love Kanye because I like his music and how self-aware he is. He's an arrogant bastard with a lot of bad opinions sure but to many young, black men (and indeed many others) he's an icon - unapologetically confident and sure of his own capabilities. I've always liked his music (I mean he has 21 grammys for a reason imo) because it's well thought-out and constructed, but music is subjective! I genuinely think My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the best albums of its decade

100% agree with this. Kanye is not trying to win any humanitarian awards and for that I can't stand the guy's personality but as an artist, he really is gifted. Late Registration was a complete game-changer (so was College Dropout to some extent), and he's kept it going ever since then re-inventing his music style, his lyrics, collabing with people outside his genre, pulling from all types of art for inspiration, etc. I think Grammys are worthless in determining musical ability/talent/respect but that's just imho because I'm a snob. By no means am I a Kanye stan because I can't fully separate Kanye as an artist and who he is as a person (sorry Dan) but I respect his music for its production value and consistent pushing of the artistic envelope.

That was such a great moment and it went practically unnoticed. We should have a playlist of these (the cactus, 'seriously how long will I love Ellie Goulding?', 'I need your love', 'All I want for Christmas is you' and I'm sure I'm forgetting some). I'm not sure about the blush, though, it could have been the light or the camera angle.

Super late to the party but about the European tour: I think they'll do something in like a week or a week and a half at most. Ireland and some northern European countries. Keep in mind for now all the places they have visited have English as their first language. I'd say in half of Europe the language barrier is too big for Dan and Phil to have a consistent teenage audience willing to buy tickets for their show.
