Eh, not really into ostentatious selfies. Seems like a lame way to rile up the phandom to me. I wanted to see some Australian scenery! Hair looks good, but don't tell me he relies on everyone else's opinions to choose how to style his own hair.
(But, if we're going to be that shallow, I'd much rather talk about how fucking hot Anthony Padilla has become. Damn!)

Unlikely it's his "old" 5S, bc if I remember correctly upgraded from a black iPhone 5 to a gold 5S
lightly jogging through the 6
About Dan's iPhone; I remember him saying in a ls that he smashed his iPhone 6+ after it was fixed previously (the first time he smashed the screen was when he dropped it at his family's at xmas, but that time it was fixed and then he did it again). He's said he can't wait for the iPhone 7+ to come out because he hates the iPhone 5 (again, another ls), so it's definitely his old iPhone 5 that he's using because he doesn't see the point in upgrading with the iPhone 7+ coming out in September.
Phil did see the point though, because he got the white iPhone 6S before Tatinof America so I guess is unlikely to get the 7 in September.

[*]I'm sorry, but that hoodie is a piece of shit. I have no issue with Daniel spending far too much on clothing... I embrace Daniel adorning himself with all the McQueen & Givenchy his little heart desires, I'm even moderately ok with the Kanye sack... but this is just some overpriced Hot Topic bullshit that needs to be burned. In fact, I wouldn't even be ok with it if he indeed had purchased it out of the sale bin at Hot Topic for $5. It's just fucking hideous. Daniel, we usually have such similar tastes, but you've lost me here. (disclaimer: I am prone to hyperbole)
I have to agree about the hoodie. The rest of that line isn't much better but maybe I just clearly don't appreciate men's high fashion like Dan seems to. I mean if he wanted to spend $800+ on a 100% cotton jumper he could've been bold and got this one

While you all lose your shit over that picture (that do look great, I have to agree) I'm here still mad about Dan's tweets about Brazil.
and plase don't come to brazil lmao
Much better!? Seriously, some of that line is a joke. At least i hope so (i know they aren't but still). Those pointy shoulder shirts. What is that? I swear I saw those in the old Tim Burton Beetlejuice movie. I don't mind his hoodie so much really. One of the best things out of the line. And it definitely goes with his aesthetic. Weird, black, baggy, and overdramaticly dark. He looks way better than the model does for sure. I like it better than the potato sack.

that is one fugly sweatshirt
i usually love Dans style but this is terrible, i mean, how 3dgY right?? at least he didn't get the "sexual fantasies" one

That's what I was thinking too! It would have made sense for him to get that after he smashed his 6+, because the SE is basically the same internals as the 6S, just a smaller external and $250 cheaper.rvgue wrote:I'm pretty sure that's actually an iPhone SE as the back flash is an oval (in the 5S and the SE) as opposed to a circle (iPhone 5)uglyamerican wrote:I think he broke his 6+, and is waiting for the 7 to be released later this fall. Did he mean the 5 itself, or the size/shape of it? Because if he just meant that, he could very well have the SE, as they have the same casing.

I quite like the hoodie though!

This is so off topic but it has been bugging me for a while. What on earth does he see in Kanye? I tried listening to his music but I just couldn't get through it. I tried it really did, but no. What else is so "great" about him? Someone please enlighten me. What is great about the music and the man behind it. Does he really. Like kanye or is it "ironic". Give me the idiots guide please!

I personally love Kanye because I like his music and how self-aware he is. He's an arrogant bastard with a lot of bad opinions sure but to many young, black men (and indeed many others) he's an icon - unapologetically confident and sure of his own capabilities. I've always liked his music (I mean he has 21 grammys for a reason imo) because it's well thought-out and constructed, but music is subjective! I genuinely think My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the best albums of its decadeWinston wrote:This is so off topic but it has been bugging me for a while. I have been unable to get aboard the Kanye bus. Attitude, composure and grace mean a lot to me, and I find nothing about his noteworthy. Some people let his antics slide because he's viewed as an artist - therefore slack can be issued (apparently.) He just doesn't seem to be a good person, and that is important. Dan is such the opposite - I don't get the fascination. [/rant]

Two logical, plausible scenario's. I'm still just relying on his laziness and maybe humid heat to get our #shavedhobbitIckleMissMayhem wrote: I'd laugh if they're sat on top of a slightly scorched bedspread/carpet in London...
Either that, or it's just too short to straighten without burning his scalp...
I'm getting a strong troll vibe out of this one 'atm', he probably thought all the hobbit talk was funny, was highly offended by all the scrutiny and decided to get back at usblueapple_x wrote:Oh man, Dan better not be teasing us but I wouldn't be surprised if he was lol. He says it doesn't look too wild natural "atm" so maybe he's only leaving it curly/wavy for today. I really do hope he at least considers leaving it natural a bit more often though as it's really cute like that.
His face in that selfie though lol. Casual slight pout.

Little does he know he has meddled with powers beyond his comprehension. #shavedhobbit is here to stay.
But yea, i'm blissfully unaware of Kanye. So i too could use a guide for dummies. The only thing i remember of him really is that he interrupted an award show because he thought his cd should have won and that i mercilessly shamed my indie rock friend for liking Kanye when he was like 16. which he totally deserved after shading my mp3 library for including "Aqua -Barbie Girl"

100% agree with this. Kanye is not trying to win any humanitarian awards and for that I can't stand the guy's personality but as an artist, he really is gifted. Late Registration was a complete game-changer (so was College Dropout to some extent), and he's kept it going ever since then re-inventing his music style, his lyrics, collabing with people outside his genre, pulling from all types of art for inspiration, etc. I think Grammys are worthless in determining musical ability/talent/respect but that's just imho because I'm a snob. By no means am I a Kanye stan because I can't fully separate Kanye as an artist and who he is as a person (sorry Dan) but I respect his music for its production value and consistent pushing of the artistic envelope.antigone wrote:I personally love Kanye because I like his music and how self-aware he is. I feel like this might have been discussed recently, but just thought I'd share one of my fav hobbies with you - watching Dan's sad dimple area get progressively more blotchy with blush from 11:52 - 12:10 in this radio show:
"That was lion, babe."

Ngl I really don't see the issue and thought it was funny - he's obviously not dehumanising the entire population of Brazil, come onmrrobot wrote:Same lmao he did NOT make it better with the replies. gringos sem noçãofakelights wrote:While you all lose your shit over that picture (that do look great, I have to agree) I'm here still mad about Dan's tweets about Brazil.and plase don't come to brazil lmao

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see it I do think he blushes slightly, but it seems all over his face and goes away quickly.Lain wrote:I feel like this might have been discussed recently, but just thought I'd share one of my fav hobbies with you - watching Dan's sad dimple area get progressively more blotchy with blush from 11:52 - 12:10 in this radio show:

His whole face does seem to flush, I agree. One of the recent radio shows where Dan played two new Kanye songs that were meant to be so good... I'd never heard such an inane drone
Love that photo of Phil with his hair also curly. Kinda flummoxed how that happened/been captured on camera just once, though, unless the pool or sea water was just that strong.

That was such a great moment and it went practically unnoticed. We should have a playlist of these (the cactus, 'seriously how long will I love Ellie Goulding?', 'I need your love', 'All I want for Christmas is you' and I'm sure I'm forgetting some). I'm not sure about the blush, though, it could have been the light or the camera angle.Lain wrote:I feel like this might have been discussed recently, but just thought I'd share one of my fav hobbies with you - watching Dan's sad dimple area get progressively more blotchy with blush from 11:52 - 12:10 in this radio show:

Super late to the party but about the European tour: I think they'll do something in like a week or a week and a half at most. Ireland and some northern European countries. Keep in mind for now all the places they have visited have English as their first language. I'd say in half of Europe the language barrier is too big for Dan and Phil to have a consistent teenage audience willing to buy tickets for their show.
