LOVED the video. It was entertaining, with a lot of puns that made me giggle all the way through it and their chemistry was on point. Also I loved how natural they were in this and all the touching they did without freaking out or overthinking it.

I was enjoying it A LOT... until the existential crisis bullshit. Srsly I'm so tired of this.

Bloody hell, that was funny, my face hurt from smiling and I was still laughing after it finished. Phil was so much less energised in the Obama Llama video, he was bouncing off the walls in this. How the heck did that woman get such accurate descriptions from what they wrote? Spooky animal affiliations are spooky. Can't quite believe how many innuendoes they found too ("pounding away"? Oh, Phil). They've got two little knick-knacks at home of one of them as a seal and the other as a whale, but I forget which is which, they've got the hair drawn on. Dan flouncing onto the bed was funny, boy has a joke he likes and he's sticking with it.

Oh God. I loved it so much. All of it. That last 5 seconds with "This was so stupid!!" may be my favorite part, because it felt real. Like I could totally see Dan saying that after a number of dumb videos they've made.

And the poking. And the innuendos. Even Phil's laugh after the existential crisis that got a jumpcut. That felt like Phil was about to be all "ok, too long, let's get on with it..." This has been like an oasis in the content desert. :')

I'm glad Phil is letting go of the "no-touching" boundaries they seemed to keep back in their old videos. It seems just resonantly that they have started to just act a little bit closer with each other. I bet he had a hard time not touching Dan in his previous videos given he is such a touchy person. I know I would, I'm a cuddler after all

i'm hoping that now they've made references to being on brand/their branding it'll give them an opportunity to break away from it. existential crisis belongs in the past with the lion/llama brand

i liked it but i didn't love it, it still felt very rehearsed to me??? maybe i'm just a jaded bitter old lady. maybe they're just in show mode and are ar-ti-cu-la-ting everything extra well now. but something seemed off for me.

Still loved it the second time around.

Some of my thoughts:
- Phil’s got that special feeling.
- According to Phil, fat spiders are just like hamsters.
- Phil does not want another Dan. I’m sure there are plenty of other people who would take the other one.
- I loved how surprised Dan was that Phil was leaving the cockies in the video.
- This video makes me wonder that if Phil encourages Dan to do something, how much Dan would actually get done without Phil.
- Phil doesn’t roar. Not even in bed apparently.
- Phil’s smile when Dan was revealed to be a seal was very cute.

Phil looked at Dan quite a lot in this video, more than usual and he also wasn’t shy of touching Dan. I’m liking this progress.

It was persona heavy in some ways, but I also felt that they were genuinely giddy in it. Probably because of all the sugar that must be in their bodies by now. Still I thought they were really great in this vid.

So after a tiny bit of digging:

-Phil used fiverr.com - if you're unfamiliar, it's a website where people can offer up services or creative commissions for a base price of $5.
-Here's the origami stars person! (editing in bc I just saw hiddenwombat totally beat me, but I'm gonna leave it anyway.)
-He commissioned the origami stars last year, which means he must have had this idea for a while. If you scroll down her page you'll see his feedback to her, and if you scroll through her sample image previews you can see that it's the same image from his video.
-He's been using the site since 2014. Also just a hunch this might be the actual Dan.

I'm sure "Caroline" is on there somewhere too but I need to get back to work right now so I'm gonna stop my light-hearted stalking. I loved the video, and I really hope he continues on with the concept.

(Also I'll be back later to be utter phan trash about... well, everything.)

I loved the video very enjoyable.

I also suspect Caroline isn't real and those answers were written by Phil (probably with a little help for the hundreds of free find your past life animal quiz's that are floating around the internet).

I'll actually give him just as much credit for creativity even if he was lying because pretending he was spending $5 that he found and the results were coming from an online psychic made the whole thing seem so much less lame (to me anyway) then if he'd just said they were doing a past animal life quiz on the internet. Even if his a liar at least his a creative one. Go Phil.

I'm sure if Caroline's real though we'll find out soon enough. Caroline if you're out there somewhere in the dark corners of the internet the Phandom is coming for you, be very afraid.

I would like it if they were to do more of these vids.

Also it looks like Phil actually got a bit of color on him.
