Why are they making everything so confusing
While searching for floorplans I haven't seen tour bus with two bedrooms. Having 2 tour buses is probably not cost efficient, but who knows.
They need at least 4 beds for lets call it "merch crew", at least 1 for the sound guy that we know,(should be more techs/stage crew), probably security...

Their tweets just made me feel really weird. How often does Phil reply to Dan's tweets (esp compared to the reverse)? Rarely. This is not a casual convo, it was planned and I would say the intent was to close the door to any scrutiny (correct or not). I don't find it cute, I find it a try-hard attempt at casual banter; it may as well have been an exchange between their ITBot accounts. No thx.

Phil replied in 3 minutes, too, which is weird in itself. Idk though. Like I'll freely admit that I find conspiracy theories fun, but something smells funky here to me. Maybe they knew people'd find the blueprints & wanted a statement out there so that people were less likely to flat-out ask them about it IRL?

I just try to imagine the process. Dan did tweet "We just saw..." so obviously they were together when they 'discovered' the bedroom situation (I can't really imagine them not knowing those details beforehand. I mean that's the kind of thing you plan...)) so they must have talked about it in real life before Dan tweeted that. So yeah, I agree that it seems staged and has a suspicious vibe to it

Which can be fun and there a fun inside jokes and discussions coming from that but makes me feel torn because on one hand I often feel that Dan and Phil are so genuine and themselves (which they are) but on the other hand sometimes I feel like I'm watching some sort of 'act' (ugh I can't really express my feelings right now )

Precisely. There is no way they didn't know the floor plan ahead of time so they planned this tweet exchange out to put a stop to any speculation. But you know what else would put a stop to speculation, if they'd stop acting like there is stuff to speculate about! And if they'd stop doing things that look coupley. Have a consistent image boys.

I do kinda consider them people who are on the internet perhaps a bit too much to be taken apart by the internet oh so regularly. Like there's a level of awesome that they appear to get it, but it comes with like an epic dose of unfortunate as well.

I agree with that as well! They make things into a bigger deal than it has to be, and therefore also attract more attention towards it. You think they may have learned that by now, but I guess not.

and the description for the bedrooms do fit what they are saying! only one of them gets the tv and bathroom, i think you might have solved the mystery

still the tweets do sound staged and they definitely had to have known the layout beforehand but this makes it a lot less weird

I agree with everyone about the bedroom tweets sounding suspicious - why lie about only finding out the bedrooms arrangement now when they've surely checked them out before booking the tour bus?

It all reminds me a little about that thing Phil tweeted to a fan about there being "two giant beds" in Japan (The straightforward denial from Phil gave me chills when I read it, idk why but Phil's no-homoing is always more harsh to me than Dan's)

They're being robots. Would anybody even ask them? They should have waited for that and just responded the way they did for Japan when Phil just flat out said 'there were two beds' or whatever. This is just pre-emptive and weird (and maybe just to reinforce how they want to be perceived to their US audience?).

This is so negative and yet so how I'm feeling right now. What's that Charlie quote from the Aicha React video? "I could just feel so much fun and love just drain out of me while ". As a gross person who thinks they're together, this is just sad to me (so desperately artificial) to publicly tweet that. What do their friends think reading things like that? It's awful. edit: to clarify- even though I think they're together, I also think the likelihood of them sharing a bed with strangers on the bus is very low. it's not about the actual sharing, it's about actively having to show that the possibility that they would share is itself ridiculous/out of the question./pedant

And if I pretend not to be gross, and think they're just friends: it's still such a calculated exchange meant to stop people from wondering about who's sleeping where when it shouldn't even matter. Dan's not going to just tweet the words 'AmazingPhil' and 'bedroom' in the same sentence without running it by Phil first. So it's just a gross planned thing that makes me want to recoil away. I don't even think this makes sense, but it really bummed me out.

In either scenario, they should have just not tweeted about it and done a bus tour at some point (I'd gladly accept a staged bus setup over whatever this is supposed to be).

Sometimes they just try way too hard and that makes it look even more like they are hiding something. I get that if they are in a relationship they want to protect that, but at times they go overboard with it and think things through too much. Like chill boys, friends touch each other and can share a bed as well. For me it is their failure to be casual about such things that make me think there is more to them, and their relationship, then just friendship.

D&P making a big deal out of everything is probably my biggest annoyance with them. They bring attention to the most irrelevant things or to subjects that should be left alone. All the time. From all fandoms I've been part of and even with irl stuff, I've never seen this way of dealing with things work. People will still speculate and doubt you, even more if you make this kind of statement. If you are only friends, act like friends! If more and don't want others to know, don't say anything. It's just worse if you do argh.
