friendship test section, and they had to say the same word at the same time to prove they were thinking of the same thing (something about the food they ate most) and they said timtams at the same time. then dan said that they need to see other people and i did a double take even though it was clearly meant to be in a "we're literally one person" context.

Thanks! Yeah I def think he meant in the usual "haha we have no other friends lolol we are so alone!1!" But it's really amusing how Dan keeps using phrases that could seemingly be taken as "I'm definitely talking to my boyfriend in front of an entire audience",even though I still get heart attacks. Don't mind me, I'm still suffering from fucking chopstick challenge notification

Ooh, 1000 subs! That’s a big jump after 600. They do say yters get exponential growth. I love the video and the intro is very pretty and sparkly. The voice and description are both really cute.
They did whiskers for the kid, that is so so sweet. They make adorable big brothers/dads. I can’t tell from the mum’s description if he’s better now or just well enough to see the show while still being ill, so it’s great he was able to go.

also, reminds me of a conversation on tumblr i read earlier about that scene in one of their videos where phil said something kink related and dans response was "i just became celibate". like at first glance, what does it mean? but if i take their "saying things but mean the opposite" filter into consideration, it starts to make a lot more sense.

The "seeing other people" thing definitely sounds like a thing someone in a relationship would say and it fits their humor very well. And yeah, of course it was meant in the "I'm disowning you as a friend" context, but I don't think that Dan is oblivious to how it sounds, I mean, how could he be? Whenever they do something like that I just keep thinking that a few years ago, we would all be dead if Dan said something like that.

Now I'm having this image in my mind of Dan constantly fiddling with/chewing on the drawstrings and Phil having enough of it and tying them into a bow so he stops. ... Sorry, I'll put my fanfiction elsewhere.
