Aw, I hadn't seen the post but that's lovely. Good on DnP and Fearne too, and it's nice that she is happy to be publicly grateful to them. You don't see most Hollywood celebs shouting out others like that. Just a small gesture like tea with them will mean so much to a child. As would her mum making such an effort to do something to support her whether at the time or in hindsight as she gets older. Makes me feel a bit emotional!

sarahmlee47: Had to go back through the raw files from this shoot I did in the summer (publicity for #youwillgetthroughthisnight, which is published in May!) and found this frame that I overlooked in my original edit but now really like. I was so nervous about this shoot because it was my first in months and because I was worried about distance and Covid etc (I was sheilding at the time) but we managed to pull it off while maintaining strict social distance and despite my fears it was actually fun. And @danielhowell couldn’t have been a better subject. The shoot was a good lesson in that despite it all (pandemic etc) distance and intimacy *can* actually work together. The third picture definitely seems to still be in the filming/now living flat, you can see the corner of the wirrow painting, the second one is literally just a white wall and the first one it's hard to tell, but the wall/floor does look like it could be the filming flat. But a piano with a medium-wood outside?? We've never seen that before. Tbh I'd thought Dan would take the white piano with them, but maybe not I guess? Also I can't remember but have a vague recollection that the white piano was electric, is that true or am I mis-remembering? If so I could see this one being the same, 'cause if it wasn't and this one is in the filming flat I can't imagine they'd want to deal with moving a full string piano twice.

I don't know anything about pianos but yes please to that discourse. Can we get into an intense debate over what type Dan would have?? What would be best for him? What model fits his personality? I am just highly amused by the idea of passionate opinions about this. It feels like a very IDB type of discourse.

As someone who wishes I could play the piano a lot better than I actually can, I have strong feelings about this! I feel like Dan would really, really want a grand piano for the aesthetics, but would probably settle for a mini grand. But I also think he might see that as too much of a commitment since they are expensive, and also can require a huge amount of upkeep and people coming into your house to tune, etc. I think I would recommend for him to get a digital grand so it could look cool, but be lower maintenance and less expensive in case he drifts away from playing again. Probably something like This or This.

Re piano - maybe one of his keyboards on the kitchen table, so he can still sit and play some tunes whilst in moving limbo/fancy piano is packed away? The kitchen table has that grey wall behind I think?
