i def wish dan would talk more about politics but "i think disabled people deserve to live more than multi-millionaires deserve to afford their 4th house" is somehow a controversial opinion so i dont see much coming soon unfortunately. especially as a pretty shocking amount of young people do hold conservative views and truly hate themselves and their poor, lgbt, immigrant, disabled, poc, female friends

that's pretty much where it started but it's escalated into a whole other thing now and lots of people do it without knowing the origin. i'm sure dan does, though. i loved seeing that photo actually because that's my go-to group photo pose

In addition to the contagious cake, I also thought the following were interesting (not in order of happening)
1) Phil doesn't want to do a house tour, says he's not into them
2) The gaming room was supposed to be his bedroom, but he decided the gaming room should be bigger. Except that room also looks pretty small? It doesn't seem to fit much other than their computer table and that sofa-bed.
3) Encouraged people to go vote
4) Got a haircut, but not cutting the sides as short, which I looove. I don't think his shaved sides with the clear line was a good look.
5) The bit about unnecessarily gendered products, aw yiss. His making fun of the 'Clinique for Men' thing is great.

As a married couple who took a small room that only fits our bed so that the master bedroom can fit two computers a giant tv and a couch, I understand where he is coming from.

Also I guess letting Dan have the bigger bedroom makes up for him taking the bunk on the bus

I really enjoyed that live show, made me smile throughout and lol a couple of times.

Dan was watching for about the first 10 minutes.

Phil was encouraging people to vote and told us he has voted. Though not who he voted for.

Phil went back to the gym and while he was running he listened to a podcast called: my dad wrote a porno. I was not expecting him to talk about it so casually, or even saying the word porno more than once.

That bunk he so definitely slept in. When I was married, I wished we'd had a big enough place for two bedrooms. Maybe we would have fought less lol. I just always find it funny when they address stuff that doesn't need to be addressed. Like cool story Phil. They're precious.

that was such a good liveshow, especially the start!! i appreciated the voting talk a lot, also the recommendation of the podcast (i am definitely gonna listen). he felt very "real" in the first half or so, idk how to properly explain it, but he seemed so natural. i smiled lots.
he seemed to be often looking above the laptop when he was talking, dan janice was standing there confirmed
him haru-ing the cake scene was hilarious. i also loved how reluctant he was about everyone screaming to "clean us daddy", that made me laugh!
the bedroom comment threw me of a bit for a couple of minutes, i can see why it makes sense that he said it like that, but i am always equal parts sad when i feel outwardly lied to, while also feeling incredibly guilty for thinking i am being lied to when it could just as well be the truth. just the personal mess in my head i guess.

all in all a wonderful liveshow though, i am so happy he did one (also he said my name in response to someone else and that kind of made my heart jump i am such trash)

speaking about GCSE's yessss, feel my pain! my maths exam today was the CD one he mentioned (AQA whoop whoop), and that one wasn't too bad but the bread and cheese question... uGH. Getting an A* in the mock and a D/E in the real thing? ouch. poor phil, he does seem to not cope well under pressure (reminds me of the CP vid where he didn't want to see a clock).

Phil's beauty tips were funny too - the dry shampoo the night before actually works and is a total lifesaver tbh. His talk about unncecessarily gendered products was incredible as well.

The job interview was really interesting aha, the thought of Phil being the only one in a suit. Plus, the way he said "Christmas store assistant" with the smile and thumbs up REALLY threw me back to old school Phil WOW

Phil's shame over Love Island omg. I don't watch it but damn does everyone else in my school - the whole thing with Dan wanting to stay up till 2am for the election and Phil not wanting to miss Love Island... I almost cry laughed (also in 2015 the results weren't officially annonced till around 10am, because I remember being in English class... I'm probs gonna stay up late-ish too though).

Also, I was watching on younow and saw loads of people in the chat saying that Dan was watching - forgot to log onto his secret account, did he? v cute anyway.

Holy crumbs, he was on fire in that liveshow, so much energy, so enthusiastic and expressive, I loved it. Right at the end his "northern lights but cheaper" comment made me laugh so loudly. His hair does look good without the shaved bits, I'm glad he's kept it longer, it suits him way better.

It's cute hearing him talk about his beauty routine. Some men's stuff is because their skin is different, but yeah, all the female stuff costing more is just a con.

Funny how he the cake scene as well. For a moment there I thought he'd give a straight answer interesting how he just casually mentioned filming lots of gaming videos, but I guess they did that for times like being away for weeks in Florida. It's good that he tries to lay off the coffee. I remember my dad saying he got the shakes at about 4pm. Not sold on his bedroom explanation, but who knows, he could even be telling the truth.

For the life of me I couldn't guess which American snacks he was eating. Pretzels seemed a boring one really, but there's so only so many American things I guess. Seems he had a lot of salt and fried potatoes as a child, don't know if there are any lasting effects of that. His guinea pig sounded like it lived a stressed life, I wondered if that was why it died so quickly

At least Love Island only has three episodes, it sounds awful, but sometimes you just need to switch off. Him talking about that porn-writing podcast was funny, being so much older than his audience really shows occasionally with things like that. So funny how he ended the Christmas stationery shop job "it was an interesting time" or whatever he said, seeing as he said he left when a woman threw a chocolate orange at his head (those things are hard and heavy).

Got some trinkets and probably some japes for Dan's birthday, that was such a cute way of putting it.
