I think you are overthinking this tbh. It seems like a very offhand comment to me. The house is 'our house', so Phil calls it that it out of habit, even though it sounds strange in this particular sentence. 'If you didn't live here, this is what the house would look like' is another way of saying it. But it is 'our house' to them, so they call it that. Idk if i'm making sense but i hope you understand what i mean lol.

I think I get your point - and if I'm understanding it right, I agree. With no reason to actually suspect anything, most fandoms and m/m fandom ships are just assumed to be total fan fabrication and not taken seriously. There are no whispered rumors about Joe and Caspar really being together amongst professional peers, but we have solid proof that people around Dan and Phil hinted/acted confused/outright stated something was going on in the past and it was not met with amusement or treated casually by Dan and Phil.

I don't think Dan or Phil would have firsthand told many people, but some were in situations of close proximity to Dan and/or Phil for the whole relationship development and others are friends with those people. Even closeted relationships don't exist in a vacuum. Stories get retold, things get around - which would lead to a lot of people feeling like they know but not having heard it from Dan and Phil's own mouths. And unfortunately for Dan and Phil, when some of those people have felt like lashing out they knew how to get Dan and Phil where it hurts.

In general it just leads to a lack in consistency when smaller youtubers (or hell, not even smaller ones, I'd count Tyler Oakley in the 'responds as if there is something to be wary of/hide' category, same with Felix) don't know if they should deny because they think they know best, if they want to deny because they think Dan and Phil will like them more because of it, if they want to hint they know something to get the attention, or if they just shrug and be honest and say they don't know.

I completely agree, and this was exactly my point.
The Caspar and Joe thing is a good example.

I'm sad. No Phil ls, and delayed Dan ls. The least they could do is to make the Thursday one a joint ls.

I do think too that one of the reasons for the ls-delay is to avoid being bombarded with comments about the holiday today.

So something's gonna happen either tomorrow or Thursday? I'll be happy if it's the alternate fanfiction one. Or maybe they have more promo stuff for TATINOF and the docu?

Maybe it's for Standup to Cancer? What other projects did they commit to recently besides YTR, SUC, and DAPGO?

They did say a while back they were in a recording booth so I am guessing that is what it was.

if I don't get a picture like that of them in the American jackets, I will be pissed. They had stars on them!! And they were such a lovely shade of blue!!

By the way, did they do gold for TATINOF Australia, or some kind of Australian jacket?

Also the only explanation for this high-res shot of them jumping and smiling like idiots is an engagement photoshoot. Duh. They're gonna come out later today because it's coming out day and release their lovely dovey photoshoot. Only logical explanation.

Also, if the calendar this year is TATINOF themed I will feel cheated, lol.
