I watched the super spon vid in bed last night with the husband. We both kept saying “stop it Phil” “omg control yourself” etc. Looking back it was almost formulaic in it’s creation. Oh I have to spon the shop and tour and do an official app spon? Let’s get a ridiculous but innocently phallic object and make innuendos, lets buy something kawaii and have a soft moment, let’s bring back the vase joke. Cheers Phil!

I’m really bummed Lion is still not in stock. The husband is very aware I want the Corgi socks and has hopefully already ordered them. He actually showed me the email before Thanksgiving dinner at my parents yesterday. He suggested I make a post on Tumblr with the holiday card photo asking “deniers” (antis) to explain (he thinks it’s gayer than the dogs calendar and he thought that was super gay). I of course really want a signed card but do not want a jumper. The child wants a jumper but even the xxs will be big on him. What to do, what to do? I’m also temped by the old AmazingPhil and danisnotonfire tee on clearance in the world wide shop (for the kid) Hmm.

The formulaic part when it comes to selling us stuff is definitely what I liked least about it, but I'm still not really mad at it. They have a lot of shit going on so I'm happy to hand him a pass for one lazy concept.

Also I just appreciate how hard he went in on the dildo pickle aspect. Seriously, like. I know he went there already with the stress mushroom but he was determined to hammer in exactly how phallic that was. No 'whoops I'm too innocent to realize I said that' barest of acknowledgements in this video. Just bluntly staring at the camera and going, "This looks like something that should go up my ass, doesn't it?" to anyone who cares to watch.

I liked the new Phil vid. I agree that he bought most/all that stuff for the vid, but it was funny, and I'll defs rewatch. I too liked the return of the vase joke. I thought he seemed to get more hyper as the vid went on, from the magical unicorn energy drink. Finally I liked his jumper, I know we've all said it 80 000 times but he is fiiiiine this year.

Not my favourite entry in the Things I Regret Buying series, but solid. I do find the spon-parts of videos get really boring on repeat-watches, so I'm glad Phil kept the Honey spon really brief.

I'm so soft over the baby rat story it's not even funny

I also loved the phil video, he's so adorable and gay and funny and him in those hair lights is all I need(i wish the colouring was a little bit better when he turned the light off so we could see his beautiful face tho). I know a lot of people said it was "filler" but I don't really get that in terms of a youtube channel. In tv shows, a filler episode is a less impactful or important one than the others but all of phil's videos to me are on the same level of a pleasant distraction that are a nice escape from the world. We just had a heavy video with the hospital one and honestly I needed this palette cleanser and I'm glad we got it. I like phil's storytimes but it was hard for me to get through the last one it was a really heavy topic tbh.

Also the subtle aging up of phil's background was nice to see. There's less stuff and some of the stuff was darker and less cutsey in the last couple of videos.

Oh I’m not upset at all. Though I forgot to mention in my last post that I often feel his reaction to cheese flavored things on camera is an over reaction and I’m well, over it.

I love all the stories we get from cabs. And Phil’s random games/quizzes/trolling. The correct answer of course is a pinky, but that was adorable. I imagine it’s too early for them to be leaving for Brazil. I know, they go other places. Airport was just my first thought when I saw Dan’s pink tinged tired eyes. Someone also pointed out their II themed jackets. Probably a coincidence, but I wonder if there are any more meetings or promotional things to prepare.

Ahh Dan jumping on as a supportive bf for Phil's mega spon. I'm constantly tin-hatting moving and their forever home but I feel like the signs are all point towards it for 2019.

I also do not understand how they managed to once again land on matching hairstyles that sort of stick up in opposite directions. This was not the plan, boys!!!! Phil, please, slightly less Something-About-Mary, and Dan.... needs to go back his Chopstick Challenge hair.

This definitely looks to be the case, and if so is something they've really downplayed (/not mentioned directly that I can think of). I'm curious to see if they'll mention it directly before Monday, and also what the general reaction might be as I don't think a lot of people have picked up on this difference in release dates between the digital and physical copies (and perhaps if they had known this when purchasing they might have made a different choice ...or who knows maybe some people will even buy it twice now). I'd guess D+P's key objective was to sell the physical copies, and that might partly explain why there is no release date mentioned in their promo, and also why giving out Blu-Rays in Brazil isn't a big deal if it's already out in the world anyway. ...it would also show that they really did do a special deal with each and every outlet selling this - true businessmen

@@susan2, thank you for bringing the receipts! I was so confused at how it seemed to obviously be giving a digital release date but they haven't mentioned it. Turns out they just... really haven't.

In other news, I'm watching Thomas Sanders' livestream and he just talked very warmly about Dan and Phil's tour. Nothing specific about the show, just saying that he really loved what they did and how they traveled everywhere and that's the kind of tour he wants to do.
