Deffo off topic thoughts about current events in Vegas:
I'm in California, but had a lot of close family and friends who were attending the concert or visiting in Vegas when everything happened. (We're about 4 hrs away from Vegas, weekend trips there are super common) An off duty police officer from my town was shot and injured there and I know family/friends stuck in Vegas on lockdown. Horrifying stuff. I woke up this morning and just cried for a good half hour. This hits way too close to home. Excuse me while I rewatch yesterday's video a billion times to try to get my mind off everything. I can't believe the world we live in sometimes man.
In deppy news, are we getting a ls today from Dan? That might cheer me up a tad bit. Sending positive vibes to anyone else in the area or affected by what's been going on.

:13 - Dan's little 'say whaaat.'
:15 - Phil loses it laughing and this video is off to the absolute best start.
:43 - Dan volunteers that he's wearing pajamas, setting up the same excuse for not being on camera that he gave in the milk/cheese video. (Even though we know from Phil's liveshow that Phil never intended for Dan to be on camera.)
:53 - Phil looking at Dan not the camera as he talks, until there's a jumpcut and he's looking directly on.
1:10 - Dan brings the mirror out.
1:24 - Phil will become a beautiful alternative moth.
1:31 - Most requested thing in Phil's entire life ever: ripped jeans.

I love this video an unfair amount. It comes close to beating the Dan Curls My Hair video as my favourite.
I do agree that Dan shouldn't make the same kind of video. But I would love if Phil announced he did the same thing again ... but with a twist. What he doesn't tell the viewers - or Dan - is that Dan has to model the same clothes he chose for Phil.

Oh, a twist sounds like such a cool idea! I'm not creative enough to come up with suggestions, but maybe someone else has ideas? After all, maybe they do read here...

I'm here and I have one thing to say about Phil's new video: ARMS
This video is not something I realised I needed, but I definitely needed this in my life. I have watched this about 10 times today (I was asleep when he posted it) and was so engrossed on the second or third watch that I missed my bus stop because I was so into it.
Let me just show you a screen grab of my phone from today, can you see a theme here? armsarmsarms
I laughed so much during the video, he was actually really funny, especially when doing the hella awkward catwalks to show off the clothes. You could see how uncomfortable he was sometimes, when he had his hands clasped across his front, but he just looked so cute. This video definitely resorted my faith in Phil, and it is probably my favourite Phil video of 2017, something I could definitely watch over and over again.
My top 3 favourite outfits that he wore:
There is just something about a man in skinny jeans, a tight fitting top and a beanie that I love. If he wore this and the piercings from the punk edits video then yessssssss mate.
Plus I think we can all say we were blessed with this part of the video

I would think if it were a re-edition with a twist, it would still go on Phil's channel, as a series.
Of course, that would be even less hopeful, since out of all his series, the sleepless nights are/were the most often uploaded, and that was every half year or so, and all of his other series were about once a year.

I want this video to have millions of views to reflect how much I love it. I have watched it several times already and while I always rewatch things I generally have to do it at least a few days later. In general I have thought their video views, especially one the gaming channel has decreased, but I think its cause I have been paying attention more that I used to mostly from me fascinated by the way youtube works differently for different creators. Either way I loved this video and seeing Phils naked thighs and I want this video to become as much of a thing as their like their baking vids or punk edits or something.

It didn't at all!!
Also, I was rewatching THE video, I am trash and the world is scary and I needed it ok?, and was thinking about why they filmed it in that room. I know a lot of people reference how small Phils room is but they are normally more careful about setting things up right? Like the reflection being in the video was odd. I love it because any glimpse of Dan is great and I am sure they know that but if a different youtuber did that in a way that was unusual for them I would probably be annoyed. I wouldn't care that much or anything but it was enough to make me think more about there decision making and really wonder about how much they have to talk things out and how collaborative things have to be. It just really made it more decisive in my head how much they don't want to share about where they are living and how little they are willing to reveal regarding that. There has to be other suitable place or angles that would have worked and not shown Dan and not had the reflective lighting and the glass butt and all that but somewhere else probably would reveal too much about their layout. That said I am glad they didn't because I loved seeing Dans reflection and especially the glass butt and I liked being able to tell Phils expressions at certain moments were for Dan and not the camera.
I think I have been watching youtube too much tonight and it has warped all sense of rationality in my brain. I don't normally think about or focus on things to this degree. HELP.

The fucking cheese outfit had me laughing so hard I had a coughing fit, thank you for whoever suggested it, thank Dan for buying it, thank Phil for forgetting to wear pants with it (I'm buying it for halloween, I don't even care - the inflatable pumpkin I was going to buy is nowhere near as funny as the literal slice of cheese)

the video made me realise how freaking awkward phil is when standing in front of the camera. he's pretty fidgety and "deer in the headlights"-y in his usual sit-down vlogs too, but this one... ooh boy. i couldn't enjoy the video because i was getting annoyed at him constantly awkwardly swaying his arms, slouching and pulling :0 faces. not to mention his "i'm so embarrassed to do this" walks. how has this guy been an entertainer for the past 10 years?!?
i also realise this is nothing new and it might have been kind of my personal revelation aka me realising i stopped enjoying his content but for some reason still insist on watching it. meh.
also, dan, please stop overreacting.

I think I have a problem, I can't stop watching that video, I've lost count of how many times I watched it and I still don't get tired of it. We have been so blessed, honestly. I think at this point only pinof can beat this video as my favorite of the year, but pinof doesn't really count, as it is in an entirely different category.
I'm actually surprised it hasn't hit 1M views yet, generally casual viewers love this type of videos, so I was sure it would be an immediately popular one. In his most recent videos, the Ebay Mistery Boxes one hit 1M very soon, and before that I think the Dan Curls My Hair one. I hope youtube fixes whatever problem it is that's causing the delay with emails, as I also got mine the morning after he posted it.
Predictions for this week? I'd say dan's liveshow tonight and phil's on thursday (looking forward to hearing them both talk about the outfits video tbh. I would probably sell a kidney to have them doing it in a joint liveshow, but that would be to much fanservice all at once, innit), I have no idea what gaming video could next (maybe on wednesday, maybe a dream daddy?), but I'm hoping for a gaming livestream on saturday! Also I don't think we'll have to wait till next week for louise's video.
(wow, I've just realized that this is actually quite a lot of content that they're putting out, at least for their standards.)

I'm on board with the "Phil looked so self-conscious " idea. Loved the vid for what it was, Phil stepping out of his curated zone (literally) in a "fashion video" for the first time. He doesn't do this type of content. He was very brave.
I may be the only one, but hoping for a duology. I hope Phil might wait a week or two and do a follow-up fashion vid, holding the clothes, talking about the fit and texture of each outfit, maybe even pointing out which items will make it into the "regular" rotation. This way we get a glimpse of the actual thought process, while not taking away from any of the fun initial shocked reactions and nervous catwalks -- and Phil likely thinking, ...this is so weird -- from the first vid.
First vid = funny reaction on display, second vid = fun evaluation of what it means to buy new clothes or try different colors. Come through, Phil. Don't just give us crumbs in the liveshow or in gaming vids. I would personally sell my soul to see that green t-shirt and dungarees become a thing for Phil to wear regularly. He looked super good!!
(I literally just have a cold but I never get sick and so I turn into the biggest most pathetic drama queen ever - though I did lose my voice which has never happened before and was amusing) 
I am jealous that Dan gets to be around them everyday.
