We did not. My guess was kitchen or dining room. That darker band (metal? see arm reflection on right) on the wall behind him confuses the heck out of me (it appears to have a fancy little dip on the far right? I almost think it could be photoshopped, but then I think I'm being too ) And that multi-layer door jam on the far left with the vertical handle... I just...? I have no clue. Could it lead to the balcony? Are those cacti in the foreground?

While we're talking about slounges and kitchens and such. I was under the impression that snugs were near kitchens in English homes (from what very little I've picked up from watching Escape to the Country) so I looked it up: The snug, a small private room within a public house, once common in pubs across Great Britain and Ireland. The same word is sometimes also used for small rooms in private homes. So the slounge could literally just mean their cozy private informal lounge. Though I'm not sure how small it is as we've only seen one corner and it seems to go on to include their red pixel mirror and maybe a fireplace as mentioned by someone... earlier?

The one bedside table is a bit curious albion. Do we think he/they definitely ordered the floating bed? Or could it have come with the place? It seems like a very deliberate style choice. I'm wondering about moving furniture in to that place. The staircase we've seen doesn't seem suited to it. There could be a second set of stairs and/or both levels could have entrances and thus elevator access. Why am I awake? Does anyone else find that big white panel with the vents on the curved wall in the moon room ugly as heck? Way to ruin the flow.

dan has the bigger room because he's the only one staying here permanently, phil doesn't need a big room or it to be decorated as more than a set or have the 'shared room' resemble a bedroom he's been in before because he's moving out pretty soon

I think they probably have an open plan kitchen diner and Dan is sat either at the island unit or at a kitchen table. The door to the left probably does lead out to their balcony. When I first saw the handle, I thought it might have been the same as the kitchen cupboards (see Dan crying under fridge pic) but it's not the same design and is much more like a sliding glass door handle.

Thank you so much sunshinias for the stitched together panorama of the bedroom. I'm so jealous of that curved wall, it's a very stylish feature! I think there still could be another bedside table next to the fancy mirror...he didn't properly pan around that bit. In a spacious room with a large bed, it would look strange to only have the one table.

Are we sure there isn't? It seems like in the combined picture thing we don't really see the whole bed so it feels like there's a section missing. I can't remember if we ever actually see that side of the bed. I have no idea regardless of whether or not Phil is sleeping in that room why Dan Symmetry Howell would not have two nightstands. If there's really only one it leads me to believe that it may have come with the house (we've never seen it before) and they won't be staying long.

hello, just delurking for a second to share my thoughts on the shoe rack thing.

IF those are Phil's shoes, to me it just looks like he tried to throw the jumper on it to cover it because he was planning on quickly showing us that side of the room, but didn't do a good job. (tb to when Phil accidentally revealed the plushies that one live show and unsubtly moved them.)

Or maybe he did it on purpose because he knows what little shits we are and we will FBI the hell out of that room

It was the author yes, they posted on twitter about it. This is really random, but I was looking through archives today (been trying to regain access to my twitter account.. long story) and I came across this. Just thought it was a bit interesting that Dan was thinking about possibly rebranding since 2012.

To be fair, I am a single person with two nightstands - all in the interest of symmetry, you see. Not that I for a second think Dan is single, nor do I doubt that the moon bedroom is shared by the both of them.

De-lurking to post the creepiest thing I’ve ever done to the internet. It’s probs confusing as I had originally made these for my own use, but I figured I’d post them here just in case somebody wants them. so just confused.


also cheeky but i took marcus video down and ive been informed a copyright claim strike on a channel is a 6 month ban on videos over 15 minutes and no customized thumbnails which makes me incredibly happy but also can someone fact check this?

This makes me wonder where the line is? Is it just based on someone actually going after the people for it? Those react channels spring to mind where basically the whole channel exists just for some random person to watch (very often it seems) Dan and Phil videos or edits. Could Dan or Phil have those taken down if they wanted? Or is that fair use in some way I don't understand. I mean FineBros have been doing something similar for ages, so maybe it is. Doubtful, but maybe others will take what happened to Marcus as a warning and back off. Do we think Marcus is going to comment on what happened?

i've always found it really fascinating that in a fandom that is so accepting of uniqueness, lgbt communities, etc - that proving the boys sleep together is so important to proving they are together.

those dudes are huge, i can't imagine either bed in their old place was comfortably large enough for them both to sleep together regularly. also, PLENTY of dating relationships don't involve bed sharing. it's just kind of a juvenile assumption imo.

i understand that if you do think they are together, it's easiest to fulfill a paradigm of relationships that you are familiar with, but all relationships are unique

could be, but i feel like it's more likely he's trying to circumvent people impersonating him on the internet. Note that he's not verified in the screencap; this was when opportunity for twitter verification was limited to a much smaller group of people.

i don't have nearly the same level of reach online & i purchased a domain that's a common misspelling of my name in order to have it reroute to my actual website.
