Now, about the spooky week so far, I have an unpopular opinion, I guess? 'cause I liked all the videos, I've rewatched all of them several times already and yeah, yesterday's was the best, but I don't enjoy this kind of games in general nor do I get scared by them, so it's all about Deppy's reactions for me. Yes, I prefer it when they are enjoying the games they are playing, but I quite like the sass, too. I also found their bants somehow different this year and much less persona heavy, maybe it's wishful thinking, but if this is rebranding, I'm all for it

That video was quite entertaining! That last jumpscare is the first one all week that made me jump. xD

I do think the masks were scarier than anything I've ever seen in any spooky week ever, though....

Really enjoyed the latest vid. I got jump scared a few times, which is what I want from Spooky week. But I also loved Dan and Phil’s reactions.

Someone needs to burn the masks they were wearing. Those were just disturbing.

I have to say the way this spooky week started was v disappointing, but the last two videos have saved it, imo.

The video last night I was waiting for Phil to climb into Dan's chair, he kept getting farther and farther behind Dan it made me laugh. I did fall asleep a during it, so I don't know what that says about how much sleep I am lacking or what it says about me as a person... I had to start it over a few times before I could stay awake. Oops. I did like it though, and I could share it with my husband because I thought he would enjoy the game. He liked outlast and PT before so it's always nice when I can share it with him.

Today's video I enjoyed the most so far, as it had a great combo of funny bants and jumpscares. Dan was very focused on shitting and things going up his butt. Anyone do a count on how many times Dan has said "shit"? Seriously there is a lot of it in this one. Although this whole week so far I have heard that word a hell of a lot. Maybe Dan is constipated and just is hopeful one of these game will help him along...

I was thinking about the whole tradition thing they have going on. I hope that next year they don't play another sonic if there is a new one. And FNAF was good for a while but now it is pretty repetitive (Although I did enjoy this one, I would have liked a longer play through since I wanted to see how the story went-I guess I will have to watch Mark). Maybe next year they could do a longer lets play of a game, instead of one game per video. I know they love their traditions, but really just have a spooky week guys, it doesn't have to have the same games every year.

i really enjoyed this vid!! i like the combination of the less-persona dan&phil and them being in a good mood. the game wasn't scary but some of the jumpscares got me, i liked how shit the game was. i agree with those saying that i like the rebranding if it means theyll be like this (more genuine bantz and less persona), but as the first vids of the weeks showed it works better when they're into it and aren't in a shitty mood (esp. dan).

They were in the flow man. I wish I could be half as funny and articulate. And cute. Anyway

This game was oddly the scariest for me out of all of the other spooky week games I think the creepy low-fi crappy graphics just made the atmosphere freaky; that, coupled with the extremely random jump-scares, lol.
And in this...! I think their commentary did it for me...like the passing remarks on the music, surroundings (calling the places 'Teethland' etc) and naming the monsters made me feel all 'involved', which is truly nonsense but there we go (And it did make me for, as somebody else suggested here, some open-world game playing on the channel...just anything! Because I love the way Deppy name and personalise the worlds. True #immersion in this video!)
Also, I laughed out loud several times at Dan's random yet wonderfully eloquent sentences; boy knows how to put an extremely weird, yet entirely coherent sentence together.
I liked how he emphasised 'Daddy' at the very start when they were reading out the intro screen too And of course, the 'F*** MY ASS' moment. Making our job (to speculate on everything) too easy, Spaniel.

-Also i dont really think we are going to get a proper "spook" this year, specially cos its both of them playing and not only dan or phil; they have a disgustingly good chemistry and same sense of humor, so its almost impossible for them not to break the mood by their bants or one of them saying sth dumb/funny. Last time i got kinda scared with deppy was with dans solo outlast vid and i still kinda cracked up at times, so yeah im really not expecting anything besides jump scares, which truthfully i dont mind in the slightest, scary stuff aint my shizz.

Enjoyed today’s video a lot, it was so effortlessly funny, they were on a roll. When Dan is sarcastic and positive at the same time, lots of funny phrases come out of his mouth and the mood of the video stays cheerful. Easily favourite spooky video (of 2016) so far.

Playing Outlast 2 demo, they looked more scared than they were supposed to be. I appreciate they played at least one truly scary game, wish it was longer/had more story in it, but their reactions were very interesting to watch. Didn't jump once though.

regarding dan's hint- the only one coming to mind for me is the cat lady, which i know a bit about, but tl;dr it's apparently very dark. i remember it being discussed on the main thread pre-spooky week, so i watched the video of felix playing tcl and i'd honestly like seeing deppy take a reach out of their comfort zone on this one. just not sure how they'd go about it. the game seemed pretty interesting to me, though! any other ideas as to what it could be?

..Kinda meh? I enjoyed it but that game... At first the jumpscares did get me but after a few of those it got really repetitive and the game just seemed kinda pointless. By the end of it I barely even flinched. It just became funny because of how bad the game looked and them commenting on that + making fun of the monsters. That's fine of course and I quite enjoyed that, but it didn't spook me much. Despite that, it's still a whole lot nicer to see them enjoy playing a game (even if they think it's bad) than that bad attitude Dan had during Sonic and FNAF.

Now those face masks were the real nightmare fuel of the video, jfc D:

I absolutely adore the cat lady so if it was that, I'll be so critical of them is2g

But it's not really spooky week material tbh, it's uncomfortable and dark and talks about dark topics, but it's not scary.

I mean dark yes, disturbing hella yes, but scary? spooky? nah. If anything they probably wouldn't want to play such a heavy game on a lighthearted channel.

I recently watched it because someone recommended it on the thread and I can't see them playing it on camera. First of all: it's too long. But most importantly because it's way too heavy for their funny gaming channel. It isn't just creepy or scary or disturbing, it also portrays depression in a very realistic way. It even made me cry (I never cry while watching movies or stuff like that, so you can imagine how heavy it is). It just doesn't belong on their gaming channel.

Watched the new vid and i got jumpscared so hard, this is what i get for talking shit on my last comment.

I really did enjoy that last vid, (im actually enjoying all of spooky week, i love watching them daily), it simultaneously made me crap my pants and laugh till i cried.

Highlights that i can remember:

-Phil trying to remove dans creepy mask.

That was great. The game itself looks really bad, though the monsters were...interesting, but that's a non-issue for me if they're into it and enjoying themselves.
