I feel like Dan putting a family member on his channel is kind of a big step in trust with his audience (a family member besides Phil because as Dan always says: he doesn’t count haha). She was a really fun guest! But I do not believe that “pogs” is a real slang term.

Also Phil’s video was just the silliness I needed on a dreary day.

I watched Dan's new video the same way I watch The Office: with one hand over my eyes (secondhand embarrassment) and the other over my mouth (laughter). I especially loved the anecdote about Dan's granddad "Popsy" falling into the water twice and Dan rescuing him. It felt very personal, especially the way he related it to what his therapist has said to him.

The part of Dan's video where he's parsing "ligma grindset" for his grandmother is both extremely boring and also reminds me viscerally of me explaining memes and trends and new slang to my barely-online best friend and I resent him for making me feel how boring I must be.

People were worried that Dan's "hot boy summer" meant he wanted to be with other men but apparently it just meant he wanted to hit up the American clubs, sing karaoke and dress like a sexy nun, all while still talking about Phil as much as humanly possible.

on an instagram story post he said he wanted people to go home rather than wait at stagedoor i'm pretty sure so even if he does go there, i think it's best not to? the text here is really small so i'll just write out what it says: "please don't stand in the cold all night waiting for me sometimes i have to immediately get on a bus to drive to the next town ty go home!!"
