Sorry, I'm very late for everything because I just finished my month-from-hell work marathon on Friday and I've been recovering since, doing nothing but sleeping and watching deppy videos that I've missed (there were A LOT)

I've also been catching up with the forum and even if pretty much everything has been said already, so I won't really add anything new, I just wanted to share that I really-really loved Undertale (I literally cried from happiness when I saw it in my subscription box and tried to watch it right away, but running a 3-day event for 250 people and getting next to no sleep somehow made me fall asleep before I could even click on it, smh), and Yasuhati (what was that Dan's look at 11:30?), and of course Charades, and Dan's liveshow that was just perfect, and literally everything, even the laggy livestream (except maybe for VR videos, not about that life, sorry). And of course Dan going to IoM and that tweet of his that I absolutely didn't take as diminishing or something, just his usual humour and so it would he on his own social media and on his terms, warmed my heart, really They just make me so happy lately, I'm surprised at my own sappiness, I won't even be disappointed if the last video is Dil

On that note, Happy Christmas to everyone who's celebrating (I'm not, but I've made myself a nice meal and gonna continue hibernating, see you next year, I guess, stay determined IDB )

This is where we differ because I am all for any kinky and christmas-related tweets. I find Dan's kink jokes hilarious. 100 furry, daddy, pain, etc. jokes later and I still find them amusing every time

Its not, at least in the UK all we see is your flight number (for example, LS249) when we scan it. If its a flight thats outside the EU, or to low-tax Islands such as the Channel Islands or the Canary Islands (Which that number is) then on items over £5 you get VAT taken off eligible items akin to a voucher automatically at point of sale. Otherwise, for EU internal flights, VAT is still charged under EU and UK law. But its also one of the easiest ways to check to see if the passenger has a connection and is trying to take liquids through; because you need a special security bag for liquids over 100ml, and if you're flying through or to Australia liquids over 100ml cant be sold to you because they'll be taken off you by Australian customs. (I hope this doesn't sound like i'm having a go at you, I genuinely only care about this to try and save people money)

Which is interesting because in 'I Nearly Blinded Myself' Phil tells Dan to rebuy everything in the airport, and Dan mentions essentially buying half a chemist for his eyes. I'm assuming they connected via Abu Dhabi and Dan would've thrown the vast majority of what he bought in London away because they wouldnt be allowed through Australian customs.

Why do you think Dan's vegetarian? I remember when @somethingsketchy and I spent far too long trying to work out if he was vegan or not i'm genuinely curious because he's eaten gelatine on camera recently and I doubt he would be ignorant about that (isnt his brother vegan?) and that pretty much but vegetarian Dan to bed for me. (though as a vegetarian - who has finally conceded to her lactose intolerance - I would be v happy if he turned out to be one)

I think Dan's a vegetarian because he hasn't been observed eating meat or anything obviously containing meat in more than a year. Yes, he was observed eating marshmallows that may or may not have been vegan (there are marshmallows that are made without gelatin).

I've been a vegetarian for approximately a thousand years (seriously: since I turned 17, and that was many years ago). I have eaten marshmallows in that time, certainly initially out of ignorance, but also for other reasons. For instance, I recently had a piece of homemade candy that I'm pretty sure turned out to have a marshmallow in it. Did I spit it out? Of course not. Over the years, molecules derived from dead animals have sometimes passed my lips--for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes I'm pretty sure that the waitstaff in a restaurant have misinformed me, and there is in fact chicken broth in a soup. Sometimes I've been stuck in a situation with no alternative food (e.g., on an long distance plane flight) and out of desperation have eaten around the bits of meat in the only meal provided. Sometimes I've eaten a dish that I know someone has put a meat product in out of ignorance (always trying to eat around any actual meat) because making a fuss about it would have just been too rude.

Are you really going to tell me that these very occasional situations negate my years and years of not eating meat and meat products and I'm not a vegetarian?

Anyway, bringing it back to Dan, I see someone who is not eating observable meat or meat products, and who in fact is seen consistently choosing non-meat things to eat--salads, margherita pizza, non-fishy sushi. Looks like a vegetarian to me!

Yeah, i class myself as vegetarian and yet im not really too bothered about gelatin - like, i wont go out of my way to eat it, but if someone offers me a marshmallow i probably wouldn't say no. Also have a lot of vegetarian friends who are the same - not everyone is that strict about it. So i could definitely see Dan being vegetarian.

In other news, i have absolutely loved gamingmas - i started a new job at the end of November and it has been so nice to come home every day and have a new video to watch dont know what im going to do after Christmas!!

I haven’t seen anyone talk about it yet but Deppy uploaded a Sims video for the last video of gamingmas!! I liked it. I loved the aging up and I’m excited to see where they take the Sims in 2018!

Not a big fan of the Sims series but this video was amazing!! It actually is a pretty good ending for Gamingmas, can't believe it already ended.

Like Dan said, it felt pretty weird seeing Dab as a teenager. His hair looks straight out from an anime.
Couldn't stop laughing when they realized that Evan was stuck in the karaoke bar for almost four months

I’m always happy with a sims episode so I didn’t mind it being the final for gamingmas. Them leaving Evan at planet honey pop made me laugh I can’t believe they left him there. This episode was very rushed they tried to fit Xmas and aging them up in one video so gotta admit as soon as I heard dan say dab and Evan were having “bro” time my eyes rolled so far into the back of my head and I turned it off. The only thing that will make this series entertaining again for me is for them to have dab and Evan to have a queer teen romance. Dan you talk about giving the people what they want. THIS IS WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT! I may be projecting

I’m not the biggest fan of the Sims series, but I made peace with them finishing gamingmas with Sims. It’s like a slice of virtual ~wholesomeness that we didn’t necessarily ask for, but they feel like force-feeding giving to us anyway lol. Also they know what people want (ofc they know), so #devan lives.

Gamingmas really took off after first several videos, and I’m happy with the content we got this December. It was more casual this year and they really tried to listen to what people suggested. Which brought.. a variety of results, but left an impression like they wanted to get those views connect to the audience.

Ah fair enough! I apparently missed some discussion in the last thread too re:lunchabales. I just assumed that he wasn't because he'd had gelatine and the marshmallows in the baking video definitely aren't vegetarian; but I didnt realise that he'd not been seen eating meat in so long. And I do think its common for all vegetarians to have been in situations like you've described (i.e. that time I was PMSing and didnt give a shit that Mini Cheddars aren't vegetarian because I NEEDED Mini Cheddars or someone would get hurt - I got Mini Cheddars and all was well). Genuinely thank you for this because I kinda showed myself to be a bit ignorant there re: Dan

Agreed, I'd be shocked if they didn't go down the route of having Evan and Dab date. Give the people what they want and all. They aged them up right before 2018 so they can start down that storyline in the new year. (I'm not complaining, I'm excited for this new progression even if I'm not the hugest fan of the sims series anymore. I just would be really surprised if that's not what they are planning.)

I'm someone who quite likes the Sims series, so I enjoyed this! Feels weird but nice to see Dab and Evan all grown up and I've seen a lot of comments asking for Devan, so I'd be surprised if D&P don't make it happen.

Excited to see what 2018 holds and of course for the PINOF bloopers (and a Dan selfie with Colin perhaps)!

I agree. Evan "randomly" coming over seemed super shady. They definitely planted him there.

I think in general, the whole Dab-and-Evan romantic storyline is exactly what they intended to set-up today. (And the "bro" comments were supposed to throw us off the scent.) I saw it the instant Dan was all "we can't do this whole adventure and then just forget someone". My dude, you forget about Evan all the time. Why, suddenly when Dab's all grown up and romantic, have you remembered to check on him?

All in all, I enjoyed this episode tbh and it was a nice note to end gamingmas on. I did actually get weirdly emotional seeing Dab all tall and lanky and with, well, very young-Dan-and-Phil-esque hair.

They 100% made Evan come over. He was the active character with the plumbob over his head. They didn’t just invite Evan over, they made Evan travel to the Howlter household.

I’m glad they are going to start a new “storyline”. I’m a pretty big sims fan, and watch channels that are just sims based.
