Yes! This was such a good vid and everything that I want from Spooky Week. Hope the next two vids are also going to be good, though it will be hard to top this one.

Fucking finally! This is what I expect from spooky week: a scary game that Deppy are interested in and some mild bants. I hope this won't be the only actual spooky game they'll upload. I got jumpscared a few times and that shaft actually made me feel uneasy. The nightvision gives it such a nice creepy vibe. That ending made me laugh though, they're just cutting his dick in half, ouch
Poor Phil, he seemed so scared, I just want to give him a hug Dan, you better did that, since I wasn't able to!

A lot of people seem to be guessing yandere simulator...which would make sense if you consider Dan's other tweet about the next game being significantly less scary.
I hope outlast isn't their only seriously scary game this spooky week....imo the best spooky week videos are ones like this (PT is still my all time favorite, but outlast was 10x better than fnaf and sonic)

yes !!! YES !! i LOVED this video! they both seemed so genuinely scared and dan wasn't being obnoxious. this totally caught spooky week's hand right before it tripped into a ditch or something.
i got so shook by this game that i managed to whack my head on my bedframe and also crack my phone the slightest bit more but it was worth it. did anyone else notice the jumpscare timestamps in the comments were off or was that just me? anyways i ended up watching the whole video w/o knowing when the jumpscares were coming. i feel proud.
also in the beginning when phil lifted his leg and dan looked him up and down someone gif it because that needs to be my new signature
any ideas on what the next video might be? dan said it'll be a lot less scary, hopefully it'll still be good though.

Enjoyed the video! I was totally creeped out by that.
Though I still think that games or movies that are more of the quiet mind-fuck kind are way scarier than violent blood-splatter like this. The PT video is still the creepiest thing ever and I have a hard time getting through it because it's so disturbing. Maybe that's what Dan was talking about at the end when he rated it?
Also what the hell is this yandere simulator that everybody has been urging them to play in the comments since the beginning of time??
OT: The new pewdiepie video is interesting because he talks about stuff like how his humor changed while he still has a very young audience who might not get it (2:25), and also (kinda relevant for spookyweek and the previous discussion here) playing games that he doesn't enjoy e.g. FNAF (4:27 - around 7:45)

Hello everyone!
I finally caught up with spooky week and I have to say I'm still not genuinely spooked. This video was good, better then the rest for sure, but I found myself laughing more then screaming. They tend to focus on weird, unimportant details when they play which takes away from the atmosphere. Like that scene when theyre looking at the school lunch menu; that part had me cracking up but took away from the tense, spooky atmosphere.

Also his comment of running crotch first into a cactus Also poor Philly was so scared, like he had his hand around his face just squealing and I wanted to jump through the screen and make him a hot chocolate :therethere:
I was dying at Dan's little sass-marks about how the game was "already scarier then fnaf and sonic" he really didn't like playing those games. Also he looked really cute at the end when he laughed and full dimpled. If you study their faces they both turn the exact same shade of red (Sad we didn't get any arm gripping or jumping onto each others laps )
Overall was the best of the week but I enjoy PT Silent Hill much more because it seemed more tense and the atmosphere and game were terrifying

basically it's a game where you play a school girl that wants so murder the girl that has a crush on her crush so she can date him instead but there's a lot of other things you can do (all to do with murdering people), but it's not scary at all, just disturbing, i don't feel like it belongs in spooky week so i'm gonna be dissapointed if they play it now

OP didn't have money to buy the book so took this picture while in store which makes sense in-context why there aren't any other pictures but is fishy in itself lol
still, if it was fake, the words in the top right-hand corner is an interesting thing to consider

yassssssss this video saved the spooky week for me. although we have to wait for the rest of the videos cause it might turn out to be just one #spookyday among mediocre shit.
glad to see dan being invested and phil scared. surprisingly i wasn't that scared... probably because i wasn't the one playing it. also GREAT START with some phil skin i rate his bare thigh 5 out of 5
RE pewd's video - that's his content, that's his humour, that's his schtick. the guy puts out videos every day and i love his honest feedbacks on games,youtube,stuff in general. (could have done without the frequent slurs though. stop) it's different from deppy's happy-go-lucky 1 upload a month gaming channel where we're promised something exciting but isntead get annoyed and bored dan. nuh-uh.

That was fun, good to have some real spooks and both of them scared. Phil was adorably cute, he gets all the hugs. Also here for him whacking his legs out It's hard to tell if those are just quite short shorts or if he was actually sitting there in just his pants. I got quite into the game, I wanted to see what else happened, though maybe that's it for the demo.

This video was so much better than the last two.
I realize now that deppy perform well when they are given good content to "bant" off of. In the case of Undertale/game like this, that is a serious, put-together, story-based material they are able to find inspiration from it, or in the case of the Sim's be able to create and interact with the character and setting effectively. In the case of FNAF which was a slow burn and did not suit their short, quick style was not developed well and the Sonic Video was just insulting, it was meant to be a bit of light humour but as Dan put it, it was just some random jps stuck into a game, nothing interesting about it. Honestly, all Deppy need is a game they like, that inspire or intrigue them and it's not asking for much. Most videos that are poor are flash game videos or sponsored videos...and I wonder why???

in the end felix talked about how he was grateful that his audience allows him to experiment and try new stuff ,even if it doesn't work, and i think that not having that support might be one of main fears/ why they don't post a lot/ why most of the stuff they do is "tradition"
i wish they took more of the idgaf attitude that pewdiepie has and went with it
