Loved the game, some quality bants! Wish for a bit less reading the chat and could have happily watched them playing for another half an hour, although I appreciate that the last level finished them off emotionally

I liked the stream but boy did it stress me out lmao poor Phil was really not that great at it but Dan wasn't that far. I think if they had controllers they would've thrown them in a rage.

Phil's innuendos are really so incredible, I always blink at the things he says like "wait what" that lady door comment was 10/10.

I hope they play this again, it's fun, nostalgic and gave us some top bants

I thought it was a really cute stream with some quality quotes from them both. I loved Phil singing The Time of My Life and Dan joining in. Can you all imagine them attempting to do this?

I just wish they'd stop reading the chat so much, all the shoutouts and such take away from the pleasure of watching them play something unedited.

The gaming live stream was funny. I am still thinking about phil saying "come in my lady door".

this is what's great about some gaming videos being live. We get to see things that we never would've beforehand.
However I do wanna say, them doing shout outs and reading the chat doesn't bother me at all? To me it's no different than a normal live stream, only they added game play. I don't think it takes away from them playing at all. Also it helps interact with the people watching them, they balance it out pretty well imo. Specially with this one, if they complete a level or die, they read the chat. Which is pretty fair and to me, kinda normal?
But that's just my take on it!

...I'm actually kinda surprised a video like this wasn't made sooner though. Surely deppy have to do some sort of announcement soon, right? Would they seriously wait until the official release date to even mention it?

I'm not going to watch the video yet tho, I'm gonna try and hold out for an official announcement (if it ever comes) before I learn about the rules and game contents.

Loved the livestream, was a highlight of my day after being horribly tired. Phil is such a cheeky git, those things he comes out with. Well, some do seem to be accidental, but then he carries on repeating them. Such a brat. I was so glad they finally got there, I’d be the same pressing the wrong key. It did start to get stressful and that was definitely more than enough times to watch them attempt it. I thought Dan stayed surprisingly calm considering how he’s been in the past. His tan still looks good and they both slightly needed to shave, was kinda cute. I don’t mind them reading the chat, there’s not much point having it if they ignore it. I was impressed by Dan reading out that huge list of names, it seemed to go on forever. This is one of only a few games I’d be really up for seeing them play again, though not for the stress. It was funny Phil describing it as being from ancient times cos I’m older than them and had never heard of it, but then it’s actually from 2009 so that wasn’t why anyway

For whatever reason my husband loves Phil (he would say no but the evidence says otherwise). Anyway he came home tonight to tell me that Lidl has a 'V-bloggers' (!) annual and has lots of youtubers on the cover. Phil wasn't on the cover he says but was inside (so obviously gone looking for him). Apparently he didn't recognise any of the others apart from (I'm not even joking) 'pew pew die'. He is sure that is how it is pronounced.

When the hell did he turn into a grandma?

I enjoyed the stream so much more than I thought I would! I was in a bit of a mood after work (being an adult sucks so much sometimes honestly) and this was the perfect mood booster. Cute banter from the two of them, and it left me in a good mood

Phil's 5 o'clock shadow has me absolutely dead, wow. He looks like such a dad, I love it. Dan's frustration at Phil being absolutely terrible at the game was cute - ALSO how the hell can he tell Phil that his 'yes, yes, tasty' in the background is distracting when Dan is shouting directions at Phil nearly every damn game they play?! Oh, Dan. I may never understand you.

I'm also looking forward to seeing them play Cuphead, that'll be fun.

Honestly phil needs to start a cover channel, every time he starts singing a random song in the middle of a gaming video he leaves me with the need for more. Only he could make me listen to that awful taylor swift song, just saying I already like his rendition much better... phil if you're lurking

i found it so so unfortunate that they had to click on and get stuck on one of the hardest levels. i wish they'd just given up and tried a bigger variety. but it was still an entertaining stream, despite the little annoying things that came from me knowing this game ridiculously well.

also one of the earlier levels was a 'time trial' type and it bothered me that they pressed play and then just sat there reading the fricking chat for 30 seconds. maybe i'd have been more forgiving if i'd watched it live, but it was so annoying to me.

'commit sudoku' hahahaha

phil you are the worst watergirl player i've ever seen, and i played with a seven year old. my sister and i also had many moments where she would slide off something in the game and die and i'd be screeching at her like dan. good times

That was cute!!! Stressful, but cute. I had somehow never played or even heard of Fireboy and Watergirl, and I don't think I would have the patience to play it myself, but they were v entertaining.

I agree with confusedpanda about them interacting with the chat - the purpose of a livestream is surely at least in part that it's more interactive than an edited video. While shoutouts can be a bit boring, there is the opportunity for viewers to ask interesting questions or make entertaining commentary that adds to the stream.

Also Ewok great timestamps!! I really enjoyed reading them

This would actually be a hilarious video - Phil half assedly singing along to random pop songs. I'd watch the hell out of that. (Someone make me a compilation of Phil's random singing plz)

(Also same I hate that song and have a strong dislike for Taylor Swift

Sorry for double posting - but woodenpotatoes is another YTer that plays GW2. I'm assuming he got a notification that woodenpotatoes uploaded something while they were livestreaming. (I went and checked after and it looks like woodenpotatoes posted something around the same time they were streaming.)

I think Dan mentioned this YTer before? If I remember correctly when he was a speaker for that GW2 event? Or in a livestream? Not sure.

Watched the Truth Bombs video (sorry... curiosity killed the cat) and it seems like a fun, albeit confusing game. Looking forward to their video on it!

Regarding the truth bombs video, I am soooo curious and tempted to watch it, but at this stage I think I'll wait until they make their announcement/play it on the gaming channel. Glad to hear it seems fun though!

I'm not sure whether or not I'm going to watch the truth bombs video- on the one hand, I won't spoil myself, but on the other, I can see if the game sucks and I shouldn't waste my money. Decisions, decisions.

Gaming stream- cute, but as it wasn't an edited video they couldn't cut out all of their many failed attempts.
Phil's not a great player, but it was still entertaining.

Yes, Dan was once asked in a ls if he listened to ASMR and he said he listened to WP as a way to relax. WP also came up in the video Dan did with ArenaNet last year in Washington.

that livestream was great! i just now saw it haha. they said my name in the chat and i was like... *sneaky eyes* and then i remembered i wasnt even there live lmao. but it was a good livestream. i do wish more of the time was spent playing the game selfishly enough, but i still enjoyed it nonetheless. my favorite part was when dan raged and said he was gonna commit sudoku, and when phil said come in my lady door. like dang only phil could say something like that by accident.

i hope they play it again!
