Low-key agree. Inoffensive at best, nasty at worst. Also, they shouldn't be sold in pairs, because they look like...um, oddly disturbing.alittledizzy wrote:Gross. That's what they are.bedhead91 wrote:I didn't know avocados were such a divisive vegetable...or are they a fruit? What even are they?

Yea, maybe most people don't really know about it? idk, it would be cool to see what similarities we have as a diverse group of people all loosely falling in the 'D&P fan' category.
Glad to have you rare pepe's around
Just going by intuition (because how else could I go) i think the F(eeling) I(introverted), and iN(tuitive) types are well represented. It's not to far fetched to assume that D&P attract an audience which shares traits that they clearly exhibit themselves after all.

I am INFJ as well. I used to take multiple quiz from multiple site to be really sure but it turns out the same. Lol.
I am a Gryffindor, God knows why. I might be a Neville, only brave in certain situation, like standing up against people who bullies you but scared of mundane things like roaches, darkness, height, water, confined space, being in a crowd.
Edit because Eurovision.
I never watch it, but in love with that guy who announce score for Ireland, Nicky. He will be entering this year instead.
he is also from Westlife. And I am such a stan for them

I am an ISFJ
Don't like insects and am afraid of heights, but will always stand up for myself and other people. I am by no means a pushover. My star sign is Leo, so that might explain some things.

I am a virgo which means nothing to me because I am not really a believer in astrology, if that term is correct. Haha. But I am a bit interested to know what it means tho.
Stakhanov, I actually love pineapple on pizza and always voluntarily orders my pizza like that. I can't describe the taste but it is sooo good.

Briggs Myers typology (and its russian alternative/rip-off соционика) is just life ruining. I always get different results on this tests, what does it says about my personality?
Old pottermore test put me in Slytherin, but according to new version i am apparently Ravenclow wich is just fine

excuse me my broken english
Thank you for mentioning the big five personality test first. As a psychology student people over think their myer briggs types and they don't even have an scientific backing what so ever so I get bitter about its popularity. I think I made everyone on GG do a five factor test once when they were comparing personality types just because I wanted a test with more scientific merit!Stakhanov wrote:

1) Big five personality test (has some scientific merit): Highest percentiles on openness scale, split on extraverted/intorverted, average on conscientiousness, fairly high on agreeableness and fairly low on neuroticism.
2) Jungian typology/Briggs Myers (of dubious scientific merit, but #relatable !): ENTP/ INTP -Extraverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving.
I've been wondering what types of personalities may be over represented/under represented in the fandom...
I have the highest percentiles on neuroticism and extroversion. Fairly high on openness and relatively low on agreeableness and conscientiousness.
Haha it says nothing wrong about your personality! It's not scientific so it will change depending on your mood, feelings etc when you take the test. Nothing wrong with you! It changes for most people.gray_walls wrote:Briggs Myers typology (and its russian alternative/rip-off соционика) is just life ruining. I was a scene queen :/ but like, by accident? But I've got sooo much tea on the other queens (and kings). hahaha.bedhead91 wrote:Oh yeah, scene queens....that period of time was such a trainwreck in general. I remember when they all suddenly stopped being relevant when Facebook became more popular than MySpace, except for the smart ones like Jac Vanek who got their own clothing lines and such. They should really be planning ahead for when YouTube is inevitably taken over by the next big thing.I'm definitely glad I avoided ever getting a myspace. God, remember scene queens? I'm still recovering from that.
I was really into The Used and My Chem (also, From First to Last, but they don't really get classified as bandom ever and now I have to constantly avoid Skrillex fans), but I definitely dabbled occasionally in the Panic! fandom, as did achika apparently. I wondering how deep one needed to be into internet bandom to encounter Ryden fic? I know I was sort of surprised when I first heard Dan mention it.
I honestly wasn't that surprised when Dan mentioned Ryden, he was a Panic!fan as a teenager and it was pretty popular ship back in the day. I was sort of surprised when he specifically mentioned the Milk Fic― the nature of fanfiction was so different than it was now, fanfic used to be this dirty secret that you literally had to go digging through the internet for. You also didn't talk about it to people. The thought of him maybe stumbling across /being scarred by the Milk Fic as young teenager is kind of hilarious tbh
I didn't know avocados were such a divisive vegetable...or are they a fruit? What even are they?
Also, I'm here as a voice for the avocado majority. Obsessed. Regularly eat them by themselves as a snack. And avocado egg toast. And avocado salad. And avocado rolls. And....ok, I live in LA, it's required of us to be like this, I think?
Also updating: I'm an INTJ, a Slytherin, and a Scorpio. So...

I remember doing that quiz but I don't remeber my result so, can someone provide me with a link?
Old pottermore quiz send me to Hufflepuff, new one send me to Slytherin ¿?
I don't think i fit in Huff to be honest. I don't like hard work and I don't care about people that much

Avocado and egg on toast? Who's got time for that?
Does anyone else here pack Vegemite toast in their roo's pouch? It takes me over an hour to hop into work but it's still warm when I get there. Bonza breakky.

Hey everyone! Awkward first day/ forced-share-something-about-yourself time is my actual worst nightmare, but you all seem awesome... so let's give this a try.
-Irl I have a fairly soft/quiet voice. So some of my dread of the awkward share circle is because no one can actually hear me. Pro: It doesn't matter how embarrassing I am. Con: Having to repeat myself forever.
-Glad to see so many fellow Harry Potter nerds! I've been part of various fandoms since 2002, with Harry Potter being the first. I'd say the Harry Potter interest is a sign of how awesome we all are, but it probably just means that we're "old" haha.
-I never understand why people have strong opinions about shoes? I tend to wear the same pair of shoes until the soles actually wear through. I also try to find the most comfortable pair of shoes that I can get away with wearing, which (let's be honest) are also the ugliest. I'm not proud of this, I realize that people judge me, but my feet are always super comfortable.
-Have been a vegetarian since my early teens. Don't care at all about what other people eat.
-Demisexual/biromantic
-Pro-avocado. Anti-artichoke hearts.
-INFJ/Hufflepuff

Started with Long Island scene bands (TBS and Brand New) because I loved all the high-intensity real-life drama between Jesse/John but eventually FOB. Pete/Patrick is too cute not to ship byebedhead91 wrote:From what you said, I'm assuming you are probably in your mid-teens? Augh, how have we not discussed MBTI yet? I'm an ESFP most of the time. And Hufflepuff!
timtam where can I take the big five personality test?
That's what I was thinking and what I meant by Ryden as in Ryden fic. I only knew about Panic!fic because I was so deep into other parts of bandom. It wasn't one of those things you'd easily stumble upon (though, I think I did with The Used/MCR. I innocently just wanted to know more gossip about the Bert/Gerard feud. The resulting fic was... eye-opening).bedhead91 wrote:Oh yeah, scene queens....that period of time was such a trainwreck in general. I've been trying so hard to hold off on my intro until I read all 10 pages, but after seeing this, I can't contain myself. I am determined to read everything though!spider wrote:Dan is also INFJ. I guess intuitive, judgey nerds just fit right in.
So fact time:
1) I am also an INFJ, and often feel alone in the world because my personality is so different from the mainstream.
2) I'm 95% sure I'm the oldest one in this group, and I feel a little awkward about it.
3) I've resorted to reading "explicit" D&P fan fiction during times of drought (hangs head in shame)
3) 0% of my friends/co-workers/acquaintances know about my interest in D&P (99% sure they have never even heard of them!)
4) I'm married with 2 kids, but have a major crush on Stephen Colbert, (who I understand is also an INFJ ) . In a game of "shag, marry, kill" I would both shag and marry him! (he's lucky I'm not the stalker type), I'm complete for intelligent, funny people who can use humor to make serious social commentary. oh, and for "kill", Kanye was the first name that popped in my head
5) It took me an embarrassing amount of time to make an avatar (I hope to god it worked)
6) I cringe at the thought of avocados
7) I am 100% fan-girling over the amazing group of people in this forum and want to thank the creator(s) from the bottom of my heart!
I wish I could meet you all IRL! Was low-key envious that some of you got to meet around the tour. If anyone's from Houston TX (ha ha) let me know

I am an INFP and a hufflepuff (I was sorted into gryffindor, which makes sense, but I think I'm a hufflepuff, so I am, bc that's how houses work).
In the five factor test, my extraversion is 38 (relatively high), agreeableness is 33 (relatively high), conscientiousness is 21 (relatively low), neuroticism is 29 (relatively high), and my openness is is 35 (relatively high)

I am ISTJ athough sometimes I can be INTJ. I've done enough personality tests on my own and through work and they usually reflect me pretty well.
In the five factor personality test, I score relatively low in neuroticism (10) and extraversion (20), while I score relative high in openness (32), agreeableness (32), and conscientiousness (45).
It's no surprise I have an engineering degree and work in scientific research. And if anyone goes on vacation with me, they're sure to receive a document with a complete itinerary planned from hour to hour with as much detail as you can possibly imagine

Spill the tea, Cora, you know you want to. Not that anyone cares but I'm a Slytherin and INFP apparently, kind of surprised I'm not an INFJ.
