I heard it this morning half-asleep and 100% heard FAMboy so my first thought was that Dan was gonna talk about meme culture of lads on the next show. Was very confused going online and reading all the comments.

I hear both but I've assumed fanboy because of the rhyme, the whole segment is things that rhyme with his name so it would be slightly weird for him to pick one that doesn't. Also I get the vibe that they are attempting to keep the shows lighter in topic and can't seem them actively having a discussion centered around something slightly deeper live? Like as a small 5 min section yes but not when they are getting multiple audio messages inputting opinions, especially with the questionable moderating team?

But both would be awesome topics so I'll be happy with either!

I’m still not convinced but only because the transcript is the live transcript pdf and the transcripts have been wrong before and had to be edited by the people that caption Phil’s videos but if I’m wrong that’s okay too. I definitely agree that it's a safer subject than fanboys. I assumed fanboys when he said the sentence live and my stomach clenched immediately. I don't need Dan's opinion on fan anything, I'd much rather hear him talk about being a femboy. (or femme boy, as the transcript says)

Interesting. Seems kinda random but I'm here for it. Tia responded to someone asking her to put Dan in drag and she replied that she would "live for that!"

I mean, clearly it's femboy, due to the way he rattled it off and ended the stream. That's his humour. I'm surprised there's even a debate about it.

In case anyone is interested, according to the transcripts Phil has said 'for sure' 16 times over the past 6 shows, 6 of those 16 uses immediately proceeded by 'yeah'.

I was guessing it's whatever the stereo interface looks like from their end distracting him, like how trying to run the soundboard on the radio while also talking was too overwhelming so dan had to take it over. it seems like they have messages pop up at random times when a mod approves them, plus rewriting the descriptions and stuff on the fly.

Yeah fair point, i like the concept of the app but it does seem an admin faff. To be fair also Phil loves to troll and gets away with it better due to his personality, so who knows.

Do you know much about stereo as a user? I've been wondering if there's any way to stop it immediately flipping to someone random's show as soon as the one you're listening is done? I can't seem to work it out and can't tell if it's a me problem cos I don't know how to change the settings or if you legit can't change them.

I am NOT allowing you two to get my hopes up with this, but I am curious, what are people's thoughts/guesses/expectations for a new AP video any time soon? Timelines? Topics/activities?

While I am definitely feeling plenty satiated with all the stereo and insta story content from the past several weeks, tomorrow will be 3 weeks since and actual AP youtube video. I wonder what his plans are in terms of youtube content while doing the stereos, because while most of us deep fans are certainly thriving, there are more casual viewers who really do only watch YT vids. I'm just curious what this new combination means for YT vids and with lockdown and moving stuff what sort of content Phil would do for a vid.

Is this was it was?! Phil seemed sooooo distracted in his Stereo video w Dan and I wondered why! Maybe this is the reason! Gosh, poor guy. I feel he's getting better at this but I hope it keeps improving.

I couldn't understand what AP meant and my first thought went to April's Fool for some reason, which I am now curious to see ahah Have they been doing something for April's Fool after all that terrifying but hilarious Craft stuff?

Yeah, the autoplay is my second-least-favorite thing about it. (My least favorite is the lack of a "rewind 15 seconds" button on the replaying controls.) I couldn't find a setting to turn the autoplay off (and I always feel soooo bad for the people who are like "wow, where are all these people coming from?" and then we all leave to go listen to dan and phil, but it's not our fault!!), but I have unintentionally avoided it by pausing in the middle of relistening to an episode and then not properly closing the app, so when I reopen it, it goes to the paused show and not an autoplay. Not really a long-term fix though, haha!
