I am also thinking it’ll be the board game they are playing. So hyped that they’ve filmed with Tomska, Hazel not so much. Seems kinda random to do it with them two though, wonder why they didn’t pick people like PJ and Sophie! Deffo looking forwards to them with Tomska though!

i saw "the rules" tweets and thought it was nice, they're good rules to have, i smiled at the fact they both signed, etc. but it irks me to see fandom stuff made into news, just in general. and who cares if the rules were because dan wasn't doing well or if it's a productivity thing or whatever? it's nice that (at least at one point) they wanted to structure their lives in a specific way and set out a list of how to do that. it's not sad or whatever, and it's not really anyone's business why they did that. at the same time, i think it's ok for fans to notice things and talk about them, and it doesn't need to be turned into anything more than that - fans discussing a little detail they noticed among themselves.

Yeah, definitely Truth Bombs! Despite the inclusion of Hazel, I'm really looking forward to the video and am intrigued as to the sort of game play it involves. Also looking forward to Phil's live show and wondering how much he'll say about Dan's video.

This is just so poor taste. What next, make a compilation of instance from videos and live shows where you can tell his depression is "acting up"? The reason the phandom liked Dan's video was because he was honest, he was brave for making it and sharing an intimate part of his life. The phandom doesn't need its name dragged in the mud because a shitty tabloid website takes a random person's tweet (just speculation!) and making it out like some great big juicy gossip. Dan's mental health shouldn't be some tabloid story! What is wrong with some people?

The reason the Rules was popular to decipher was just for the mystery in itself (and the "Dan Lester" thing just people playing around). The thing doesn't even add up to the "timeline" Dan gave for when he started therapy, it is just something he made himself with Phil. He isn't a fictional character we make head canons around, its one thing doing this on a sorta out of the way forum, but making a fucking "journalistic" article about it is just unreal.

We all know the We The Unicorns site just likes to ride coattails for attention (no clue how they still gain popularity with all the cringe 'fan' posts) but yeah, poor taste. Taking it with a grain of salt but still annoyed. I really hope the speculation of stepping backwards through the timeline of deppy to view things under the light of MI issues doesn't become a trend.

This was not my fave Phil live show, too much talk about sweets/food.

I’m glad that he addressed Dan’s vid.
Plus it was nice to get a glimpse of the behind the scenes stuff with him telling us how they filmed the cereal bird poop part.

His dream was cute.

my analysis of his dream: he has a crush on ryan gosling. bam.

That was a very uneventful livestream. Still pleasant, but I was expecting the gaming stream so I think any sort of liveshow would have felt like a letdown after that. Also bummed we won't get a livestream on the 19th, but I think next week will still be full of hype if the game gets some official launch acknowledgement from them.

I thought the comments on filming Dan's video and Dan's video being important were sweet and well done in tone, and the Ryan Gosling dream was totally a highlight. Be honest, Phil: Ryan wasn't wearing a shirt in that dream, was he? Also further acknowledgement that most of his dreams are stressful.

This is going to sound like a knock on Phil (and it isn't, I genuinely enjoy listening to his liveshows), but man, do I wish I was even half as good as Phil is at talking for long periods of time without actually saying anything. My job involves me having to talk to groups of people before meetings start, and I struggle to make meaningless small talk for even 15 minutes.

I usually love Phil's liveshow and he did make me smile a bit but it seemed like this liveshow was a last minute decision and he didn't prepare something to talk about. So much food talk and general waffling around. He looked extremely cute like more than usual but it gave me the vibe that he wasn't really into it. I wonder if he just didn't want to get too deep into Dan's video topic and so he kept everything at arm lenght. I wasn't expecting him to talk about it in a personal way at all, but it did seem.. I don0t know. I wanna say impersonal but, well, it's not really his video isn't it? Even though we all know it's personal to him as well.

I don't know, it was nice in a random "oh yeah i'll keep it as background noise while I do other stuff".

I'm still hoping for a joint liveshow at some point during this month, but Dan mentioned possibly not going live next week and Phil isn't doing one either so I really wonder what are they doing next week..besides watching Blade Runner ofc

This is actually one of the many reasons I love Phil's ls. It's so nice and relaxing and funny to watch them. I sometimes need a bit of wholesome entertainment. I think Phil would be the kind of person that could cheer anyone up if necessary. Also, he looked particularly beautiful today, I think that jumper is one of my favourite Phil clothes I also really enjoyed Phil's ls today, even though a lot of you didn't seem to like it all that much.

About the gaming collab:Interesting combo. I hate how attractive Hazel is when her personality is garbage. At least I don't mind her in videos, so I think it will be fun, especially with Tomska as well. I think this is only the second collab on the gaming channel so far?

hm i didn't catch the liveshow but I wonder if dan made the last minute decision I mean if I had just shared something extremely important and personal especially about mental health (not to mention the extremely positive reaction) I would understand why he would feel emotional and not be up to do the livestream

Re: upcoming video - ugh, I'm so torn. I love that we're getting what surely must be Truth Bombs, I hate that it involves Hazel. Why, just why couldn't they play with someone else??? At least Tomska is going to be in it.

Re: liveshow - I missed the first 20 minutes of it, what I managed to catch wasn't very eventful, but it was nice. I like Phil's ls because they're calm and relaxing, and even if I get distracted, I usually don't miss a lot.

Re: Dan's video - I'm still... So emotional about it, to the point of being quite unable to even talk about it.
I have depression, but struggle to describe what I'm feeling to other people. I don't even try. Dan's video just kind of went straight to my soul - like those are the things I would say if I knew how. I'm happy for him and his video gives me hope for myself. I don't know, I'm rambling, I want to discuss the little bits of the video, but I can't. I will say I found it perfect and he definitely deserves recognition for it.

I hate when I'm reminded IDBs is not in an impenetrable bubble and people can come in and take things discussed here and use them for a purpose the people discussing didn't intend.

On another note I like Hazel I want to be where the people aren't merch. I wish D&P made merch I actually liked (my bank balance is grateful they do not though).

Phil's ls was exactly what I needed: calm and happy. I can't deal with another video that would make me cry and I'm still not over Dan's video, so this was exactly what I needed.

I hope he vlogged some of the action, it would be another video to look forward too next week.
