I consider anyone who does YouTube a YouTuber if they make content. If his name was spelt the same I'd believe it, but it's a bit suspect otherwise.

Interesting question about memories and keeping a personal life. I hope they've been able to keep enough for at least their sanity if not proper happiness. Beckie Jane Brown posted a very interesting post to Facebook about having so much recorded online. Infuriates me as it's to do with mental health and I'm sick to the teeth of small-minded wanks using that for rejection.

Do we think Phil might go live on YouNow at eight again this week? They usually tell us in advance if they're cancelling or postponing, but then Dan didn't bother last time until someone asked. At least if Phil does eight o'clock, we don't miss it actually being st seven. Damn iPad not letting me use the number key halfway through a post.

I was still deep in the fandom when Evan started engaging with the D&P fans more frequently. At first it seemed cool, a youtuber who watches D&P and considers himself part of the Phandom? I'm intrigued!

But with time, he started mentioning them more and more and even got his friends involved - first Dodie? She was okay and I didn't have a problem with her. But then he started to hang out with Emma Blackery and Luke, and they started making really inappropriate comments about deppy on their twitters and hinting at there being sth more etc. There was this incident where he was posting about watching the voldy on tumblr and deleted the post next day and claimed he was drunk. And that really pissed off a lot of people and made me personally dislike him as well. iirc there were comments like "everyone in the YT community knows about it/has watched it at some point and we all talk about it". Which is just something you shouldn't really share with the public, dude.

The phandom obviously turned against him and, as always, Emma was there to make sarcastic comments together with him and whine at how unfortunate they both are, to have the wrath of Phandom rain down on them...
I personally still dislike him for what he did, cause it seemed like he was faking being an actual fan for views.

- he is worried about people being disappointed in the stranger things writers, because they now have to live up to something amazing. that is very interesting too! that he is not scared to be disappointed himself, but worried for those people and how others are going to judge them. i think phil relates a lot to other people's experiences and has loads of empathy, which is probably why he always feels second-hand embarrassment so much. it's also why he is really good at connecting to people and make them feel welcome, though.

I've been trying to determine what I enjoy about Phil so much, and I can't really pinpoint it. With Dan I know, I like his passion, that he's outspoken, that he's caring, that he is so in the fandom and gets humour- but with Phil I find it harder! he makes me feel happy and calm I think, this is so cheesy, but I really just thought, like a ray of sunshine. it's easy and bright and consistent what he provides, maybe that gives security and why it all feels so calm. and he seems so genuine in his worldview, so optimistic and kind and wholesome. mmh, maybe I do know, after all.

I really loved this liveshow. Love love love him telling childhood stories, the Portugal stuff was golden. We finally have an equivalent to Dans' fear of moths and trees - for Phil, it's animal skulls and religious imagery. Personally, I'm with Phil there.

Loved the Phil-like interactivity of the shirt choosing thing, the hyping of Dan's video, the whole Wimbledon part and how you can definitely see his nerves/anxiety over prethinking things that could potentially go wrong at events.

Him saying that a "pretty anime boy" helped cure his fear of horses - look, I know people hated Horse Prince, but that series is the gift that keeps on giving in terms of Phil talking about attraction.

He seemed pretty relaxed overall, like he was having a good, chill day and passed that mood on via liveshow.

Watched the bloopers vid and thought it was kind of disappointing. Didn't make me laugh nor were there real bloopers. I could have done without.

Very disappointing. They weren't bloopers, they were just deleted moments from the video... and ones that I think were deleted for a reason, because they just weren't that funny.

Yeah, I have been hoping for actual bloopers, not this. Didn't make me laugh. But they're both still nice to see, I just love this Danthony collab

I missed the first couple minutes but caught some Crash Bandicoot chatter and then someone mentioned his zebra shirt and I forget exactly what Phil said about the zebra in his rainbow jumper, but it got me quite teary and the rest of the ls I was smilingly with crinkly eyes. I just love him a lot.

(I think Phil looks good in a darker grey, like the Bondi Beach hoodie, white is okay only if it has a stark black on it though I prefer white on black on him.)

Yay Whimbledon! That's exciting, I was hoping he would talk about his outfit and not just his face and he delivered with voting. Looking forward to photos on Instagram!

Just watched the bloopers as well. What got me sort-of laughing (not doubling over like in the original video) was Dan's face when Anthony asked if he was left-handed; like, Anthony seemed to genuinely don't know and it got me laughing haha sorry Dan
The rest was okay. Not bloopers perse like you guys said, just a deleted version; but I asked for them so, guess I'll take it.

I agree with you on everything you said here. I always keep smiling when I watch his liveshows. they're so cozy, it's like seeing a friend who's light-hearted and kind, and caring, and welcoming. I get so many great vibes from Phil. I guess it's that thing that he was talking about once, about having that face when strangers often choose him from the crowd to ask for help (I don't remember the exact words)

he's like a hospitable house owner who always makes sure that his guests feel comfortable. maybe that's what makes it so calm and secure

re. bloopers: my favourite moment was when Anthony asked Dan if he's left-handed. such genuine surprise, from Dan's side too, like, 'how can you not know that?!'

This liveshow was lovely! I'm very jealous they are going to Wimbledon, but I hope they have the best time, imagine if we did get glimpses in the TV broadcast ahahah.
The clickety noise in the background of the liveshow was also noteworthy, I'm assuming it was Dan typing in a keyboard. Got me wondering what that room is and where it links to. That wish to get all the house content but also loving that they are more private man...

The highlight for me was him talking about his trips to Lagos in Portugal. I was laughing at his pronounciation of Lagos (though it objectively wasn't that bad). Loved the little stories, and I found the part about the bees and wasps funny, cause I don't think the region has more insects than any other place ahaha, must have been the house he was in! But yeah, I've gone to Lagos loads, everyone please come and be tourists here because we need the money in our economy the *IDB meet-up goals*.

The bloopers were very disappointing, I was hoping for actually bloopers and not unfunny deleted scenes but oh well. I'm very excited for the video tomorrow, I hope we finally see the creative energies Phil mentioned in their best and new format sounds so interesting, I hope I don't get too hyped though cause that's always the worst. I'm left wondering how will the chemistry between Dan, Phil and Anthony be on camera (if it's them)... Pumped

I think that was just sound Phil made whenever he moved about or used the mouse or typed.

^ I thought perhaps it could be his mouse as well but I watched carefully and there was clear typing at a moment when Phil had his hands up and away from the computer. Hi Dan. Now the question is, was that Dan furiously typing in the YouNow chat? And was it him that asked Phil to take another Buzzfeed quiz so he would have a good video title? (I actually doubt this. It was probably another Dan. But have no idea as I don't watch on YouNow. If any of you did, did you catch him in the chat?)
