apologies for the double post but I saw this on Tumblr and thought it was funny that Dan appears to have a designated “pupper jumper”

To nitpick, the first striped shirt is different, then he’s worn the 2nd one twice on days he’s met dogs. I can’t tell which black shirt he’s wearing in the restaurant, but the others are all different. Yep, I’ve already looked at this myself This is such a cute post, I even shared it to Facebook where the rl contingent doesn’t give the first damn, but some things are too good not to share.

The only thing this post indicates to me is that the ratio of striped shirts:puppy encounters in Dan's life is too high.

Otherwise known as "get a dog!"

Random thought: I know LAP is as good as dead outside of liveshow uploads, but man I would kill for another Phil Lester vs. praying mantis type of video. Just on my mind as they're on vacation and living their best lives :')

That video is such a treasure. So domestic, with a slightly buzzed (and acting extra) Dan behind camera.

Not to make too many kid-on-Christmas correlations here (though... not wrong) but I am genuinely going to bed every night excited for the morning right now because I know there's a much higher than average chance I'll be waking up to something cute from them. Thank you, boys.

I'm in a bit of a difficult too, but all of this is making my week so much better I'm so very happy for them.

since they've now officialy left:
They stayed at the Aman hotel in Tokyo.
they've really gone all out on this special holiday haven't they

That was just one part if it, my head is spinning imagining how much the whole thing must have cost them. Good for them though, this is their dream holiday. If I had their money I would definitely do it in style

Look I can't help but think this is a special holiday. Like.. you know? Special luxury places in their country or dreams for their 10th anniversary.. I don't wanna say it but i am thinking it because I am, after all, a clown

A suite is ~$2,000 USD a night. That’s not terribly different from the nicer hotels they stayed at during II. Or is it?

Possibly I don’t remember. Either way. I think they should go on more expensive vacations and, you know, make that travel series.

Don't worry, you're not the only one that's naive because I actually can't comprehend what it must be like to be able to afford that level of luxury... people can do that? real life people? not dramatic cartoon villains? Can't fault them too much for it though, that place is NICE. Honestly, good for them.

Yeah I was a bit shocked when I found the hotel earlier. At first I thought I might have the wrong one because of how obscenely expensive it was, but nope. They really splurged. I agree with liola that this holiday seems to be at least a little bit more special than others. I don't think that's the kind of money you'd spend on a normal holiday, not even when you have Deppy money. They're celebrating... something.

They definitely stay in nice hotels when they travel, but the Aman is another step up. Just compare the room prices for the Aman to the Imperial Hotel, which is where they stayed in 2015. Both are 5 star luxury hotels, but the Aman is much more expensive. Or compare it to the Bellagio where they stayed thus year during their Las Vegas trip. Those hotels are in their usual price range, but the Aman Hotel is like double that.

I feel like this really cements that at the very least this is their tenth anniversary present to themselves. And while I can't quite think about how much money it costs without making myself queasy I am at least happy for their blissful enjoyment of the trip.
